Baddaadum. A dingy brown train boomed and rumbled, crawling on the rusty rails that lay in the barren desert. The instability of the train would occasionally shake the crappy knockoff leather train seats, causing several of the passengers to panic among themselves. Dieter couldn't care less, he too was drained and exhausted. The 11 year old boy could hardly keep his eyes open. The window he sat by was so dirty, the window looked tinted brown. His pale face and brown hair with a fade and his brown eyes just glaring back at himself . He couldn't bear gazing out past the dirt of the window to the empty desert; it would only make him even more bored and cause him to knock out. It wouldn't be a good idea to sleep on a train alone. He was too afraid he might get kidnapped or robbed, this train wasn't full of the most honest of people he thought. Although he thought the man he sat by didn't seem much like a bad guy. Taking a quick glance to his left, Dieter could see the man. Black messy hair, droopy brown eyes as if he hadn't slept for days just staring out at the cart door, messy stubble covered his face that looked like he hadn't shaved in days. His skin was a bright brown and on the right side of his temple held a clear slashed scar. The man noticed Dieter's glance and looked back at him. Dieter's immediate reaction was fear and to look away towards the window. The man moved his eyes back to the cart door in front of them.
Brrrduum. Then a slam of a door. The cart door of the train behind Dieter and the man opened up while the train continued to rattle around. The conductor hopped out and walked towards the passengers.
"Tickets please! Tickets please! Have your tickets out now!" the conductor yelled out.
Dieter started to scramble into the pockets of his dirty blue jeans. Pulling out the lone scrunched up ticket. The man next to him calmly held his phone out with a pass on the screen and continued to watch the front cart door.
"Tickets please! Tickets please! Have your tickets out now!" The Conductor continued to move up the seats checking tickets and started to come closer to Dieter's seat. Suddenly a loud click and scream came from an old lady sitting in a couple seat in front of Dieter who was looking back at the conductor. Dieter's eyes moved back behind his seat to see the conductor's face plagued with fear and panic. A black pistol aimed at the side of the conductor's face and holding it was a burly man in all black with a ski mask.
"EVERYONE GET DOWN OR I'LL BLOW HIS DAMN HEAD OFF" yelled the man in the mask.
"THIS TRAIN IS RUN NOW BY AKIBA, THE DEVIL'S DENTIST AND HIS CREW. AND-"
"Huh, I don't remember hiring a crew". Another voice said, to Dieter's surprise it belonged to the man sitting next to him who had his eyes now facing the gunman.
"DID I FUCKING ASK YOU IF YOU HIRED A CREW DUMBASS!" the masked man yelled back.
"I mean again I didn't..."
"SHUT THE FUCK UP! I TOLD YOU IM GONNA BLOW THIS CONDUCTOR"S BRAINS OUT! YOU WANT THAT ON YOUR CONSCIENCE?"
"Please stop talking, help me please" the conductor cried as the masked man pushed the barrel of his pistol deeper into the conductor's head. The conductor had tears and snot pouring from his face. "I have a family please just stop talking".
The strange man next to Dieter got up from his seat.
"ARE YOU STUPID!" the masked man exclaimed. Dieter couldn't see his face behind the mask but he could see the fury that was building inside this man just getting ready to implode.
"Please wHaT ar yO doInnnn" The conductor cried now barely speaking clearly with all the snot clogging up his nostrils. Passengers around started panicking even more. Yells and screams circled all around Dieter's ears. He realized what was about to happen and averted his eyes away. He didn't want to see the horror that was going to occur, but curiosity made him look back and to his surprise the man who sat next to him wasn't nowhere to be seen.
"What the fu..." the masked man said in confusion. Everyone around was just as confused. Where had the arrogant man who escalated the situation gone? From behind the masked man where his shadow lay on the dirty carpet of the train. A hand raised out from the shadow and the man who sat next to him hopped up. Dieter realized what was occurring now. The man he sat next to was one of those angels, people with special abilities. The man raised both of his arms around the back and front of the masked man's head and in a second snapped the gunman's head. The gunman fell lifelessly to the ground, it was clear to everyone on the cart that he was dead instantly.
"Sorry I couldn't have a small fry like you smearing my name cause I'm the real Akiba" The man who sat next to Dieter, grabbed the gun out of the man he just killed and moved towards the front of the cart. "Sorry about the scare bud" he said smiling with his eyes squinted at the conductor as he walked over to reach the front. The Conductor who was now on the floor next to the dead gunman was still trying to process how he had almost died and was in complete shock.
Dieter just stared in awe as Akiba walked towards the door. He had heard stories of this many times throughout his life. Akiba was a lone mercenary with angel abilities. No one knew what exactly his powers were other than it was connected to his nickname, the Devil's Dentist. He was infamous for his brutality and ruthlessness. There were stories of him fighting 100 men on his own. Stories of him taking down some of the most infamous criminal organizations. All of these were done on his own.
CRKRRK. The cart door struggled to move but as it cracked open 3 masked men came charging through.
"What the hell is going on here!" one of the men yelled pulling a pistol out from under his shirt.
"Sorry about your friend" Akiba replied mockingly
The man in the mask looked in distress to see one of his comrade's corpse lying in the middle of the row underneath a strange man. "Do you know who we are? We're followers of Akiba the Devil's-"
"Ye ye we had this whole recitation before, I don't need another monolog buddy"
"Who the fuck are you?" The masked man and the armed men behind him raised their guns aiming at Akiba.
"I already did my dramatic intro, no point in telling dead people my name."
"FUCK Y-"
BANG BANG BANG
"AAHHHHH" an old lady sitted next to the door screamed in horror from both the blaring gun shots that rang and from the dead corpse that landed on her lap. The bullet had blasted through the masked hijacker's head and was gushing out a storm of blood.
Akiba slowly went back to his seat. Gently seating himself as if nothing had happened and laying his head as if he was going to take a nap. 4 corpses of hijackers laid in the train cart and everyone turned silent, too terrified to bother Akiba.
