Another crossdresser Merlin au, bc I love them sm. Idk if this will get written or not tbh. So:
~Arthur keeps talking about how much he likes this dress he saw in the market just outside of Camelot in one of the surrounding villages, and how nice it would look on Gwen, but Gwen doesn't like it because it's "too short"- just above knee length, but remember, it's medical times sooo, that's wayy too short ahah
And then Merlin goes and buys it without thinking, and now it's just sitting in his wardrobe.
Arthur and Gwen arn't dating but Arthur has a small crush on Gwen, but everyone apart from her, him and Merlin know that he's just trying to convince himself he doesn't like men. Uther is okay with it, but they haven't had the conversation about him adopting a child to become the new heir.
Merlin is going crazy bc he thinks Arthur is head over heals for Gwen, and he is in love with his king.
