An Hour After the Events of Chapter 9 (What's Your Story?)

Within Jen's Home – Levi's Recording Room

"Are we almost ready?" Rattata/Levi asked as he hopped up onto his chair. They were all in his recording room, which had been set up a few weeks ago in the basement.

Rattata/Levi had spent at least a day or two running throughout Jen's home checking furniture out and requesting it be brought into his recording room to be used while he, Vulpix and Haunter/Ein made videos. From what he could collect, thanks to Mew, Mewtwo and Jen helping, he had two cushioned highchairs from the kitchen, an old bar table from the attic, Jen's laptop—which he was still learning how to use, a lamp from the living room—even though there was plenty of lighting in the recording room—and a baseball cap from Libby's room.

"Almost. Relax. We want to make sure everything is set up correctly. You don't want to get halfway through the video and realize we haven't been recording, again, do you?" Haunter/Ein pointed out as he connected Libby's video camera to Jen's laptop.

"...No."

"Then be patient. We can start in a moment." Haunter/Ein stopped prepping the camera on its stand and peeked over at Vulpix, who was talking with Mew. "Would you both want to do this Live? The camera is connected to the laptop, so the video will already be saved and ready for any editing before we upload it. Though, if we do this Live, then we could get this out to everyone sooner."

"I don't know. Yeah, I agree it will get her story out faster if anyone decides to tune in and we may get immediate responses from those who request to call-in...that would save on time...there'd be fewer recorded comments to listen to..."

Since most of their followers were Pokémon the comment sections were usually filled with voice recordings. There were a few written comments left by trainer owned accounts, though those comments were usually about how cute both Rattata/Levi and Vulpix were or how much their Pokémon, who were followers, seemed to enjoy watching the videos. However, while going Live, those tuning in could also leave vocal comments or request to call-in and speak directly to Rattata/Levi and Vulpix using Jen's laptop.

"...What do you think, Vulpix? Do you feel comfortable doing this Live or just record your story?"

Vulpix furrowed her brows as she mulled over his question. "Uh...not sure. I think it would be best if we just record it. There are some parts of my story that I want to share only with you and our family. They're parts that our followers may not...like or believe, which could lead to them leaving and disregarding my story. That's if anyone decides to watch us."

"It's gonna be that crazy? Now I'm super excited to hear it." Rattata/Levi beamed as Mew helped Vulpix into her chair.

"Umm, yeah..."

"Speaking of followers, how many of them do you guys have? Need help getting more?" Mew offered. "I can be one!"

"Not a lot, but we just started and even though I would like more viewers, no thank you, Mew. I think we'd like to earn them on our own. Though, if you want to sub to us, then sure. You'll need an account to do that, which trainer girl can create for you." Rattata/Levi had quickly become more tech-savvy over the weeks of relaxation thanks to Jen and, on the rare occasions, Mewtwo.
