Meanwhile – At Jen and Libby's House

Jen woke up before Mewtwo did and laid lazily in bed for a couple of minutes. She wasn't ready to get up and start her day just yet. Heck, she didn't have to do anything today if she didn't want. They were no longer running from anyone...not counting her mom, but she was not a huge concern. Plus, she was all on her own.

She turned on her side and looked at Mewtwo. He was completely conked out next to her, his expression relaxed. "I wonder how all of the other larger Legendries are doing. If Mewtwo is still this tired, then I'm curious to see how Ho-Oh, the Kami Trio, and some of the others are doing. Then again, they didn't have to fight their alternates." Her thoughts then moved towards Latias. "She flew with N, Colress and Sabrina back to Altomare. I can only imagine how exhausted she is."

Mewtwo sighed in his sleep as Jen traced her fingers over his chest. It felt nice; his warmth and presence...just being with him again almost made the girl cry. "Home...I'm home with him. This isn't a dream. We're home."

The girl laid beside the grey Legendary for a while longer, watching him sleep, before slowly sitting up on her pillow. Perhaps she could start breakfast for them before Mewtwo woke up. With a pleased smile, Jen leaned over her sleeping mate and kissed him softly on the cheek before sliding out of bed. As she walked towards her bedroom door, she happened to catch sight of herself in her mirror. "Yikes. That's some wild bedhead...and that's just the start of how messed up I look. Why did Aunt D and Nurse Joy not call an ambulance for us? Not as bad as how I looked after fleeing the Rocket base in Undella, but still. Gawh!"

She quietly made her way to her closet and pulled out some clean clothes before opening her bedroom door. She peeked behind her to see that the Legendary was still sleeping before sneaking into the hallway. "Quick shower, then make breakfast."

She pulled open the door to the bathroom and set her clothes down on the countertop. "Towels underneath...yep. Grab mah toothbrush, paste and brush...three Pidgies with one stone." She kinetically closed the door and started the shower before stripping out of her torn and bloodied clothes.

Tossing the clothing from the other world into the trash, Jen jumped into the shower and stood underneath the running water. She could feel the debris and grim flowing off her with the water and down the drain.

"..." She stood still for a moment, quietly enjoying the warm water before turning on her heels and pouring a handful of shampoo into her hand. Jen replaced the bottle back on the shower shelf and lathered her knotted hair with the sweet-smelling cleanser.

Once her hair was nothing but a bob of suds, she ducked under the water again. She counted to ten silently in her head, rubbing the remaining soap out of her hair, before taking a step back and wiping her eyes.

She grabbed the bottle of conditioner and squeezed out a smaller handful of the silky soap into her hand. Repeating her previous actions with the shampoo bottle, Jen replaced it back on the shower shelf before rubbing her hands together and running both hands through her hair. She could already feel some of the knots falling out of her hair, but she wasn't ready to wash the conditioner out just yet.

After washing her hands under the water, Jen grabbed her brush and quickly ran it through her hair. Thanks to the conditioner, her brush slid through her hair and gently pulled out the small, remaining knots. Brushing her hair in the shower had become a habit to her after Libby slipped the secret to her that she could get her knots out faster.

The only downside was drain hair.

The sisters' solution; Drain-O and a trashcan just outside of the shower curtain.
