I wake up to see hooty about to eat rascal "HEY stop! You can't eat him" I grab rescal "fine" hooty left and I pet the bird to calm him down "you'll be ok buddy I promise" rascal chirped a bit seeming to calm down
I put the bird down and changed for the day I had put on a baggy shirt and pants with a black hoodie "this should be fine" I said to myself, about to leave my room for breakfast rascal flew up to me seeming wanting to go "you can't come bud someone might see you"
He looked sad and chirped "fine fine you can come" I put him in my hoodle pocket and left my room, getting down stares I see eda finishing making breakfast and luz and my parents waiting in chairs
Eda looked my way "oh your finally awake I hope hooty didn't scare you" I walked over "wait you sent hooty" "yeah why did he do something?" "Yes he almost ate..my palismen" luz chimed in "oh no not buttercup"
"I'll talk to him about eating things later now everyone eat before it gets cold" eda told us "your right and again thank you for letting us stay" my mom said "no problem"
That afternoon-
Sitting on the floor with luz figuring out new glyphs scattered everywhere king and Amity walks in with some stuff for eda
"Oh y/n I forgot to ask, why hun-" king got cut off "shh no, shut up" Amity hit King's skull head peace "who's..? Wait Amity did you tell him?!"
"Hey don't look at me, look at the match maker" Amity said pointing to hooty, "Hooty who did you tell?" He made his way over "just king, eda, your mom and dad hoot"he says, "You told EVERYONE?!" "Not luz" amity chimed in trying to make me fell better "that's probably a good thing"
"Seriously what do I not know?" Luz said, "nothing just..umm" "y/n likes someone hoot hoot" "hooty shut. UP"

"No, I don't think he wants you to even know" I cross my arms "so its a boy I know, and dang I owe eda 5 snails" luz said
"I shouldn't be surprised on yalls bets anymore and you know what I'm going to my room im not saying more" I headed up to my room "please tell me who he is" "never" I shut my door
I lock the door so she can't come in and sit on my bed I put my hands in my pockets and remember the little bird and take him out "sorry I forgot you bud" he started chirping a lot "shhh" I then hear a tap on the window
"Hooty what do you want you know you can come in" "I wanted to say sorry I didn't mean to upset you" he says, "are they making you say this?" I asked him, "no I felt bad hoot"
"Well I forgive you just please ask next time" he smiled and I peted him, the bird chirped and I peted him too as hooty left
A few minutes later there was another tap at the window "what else do you want hooty- oh"
"Did I miss something?" Hunter asked, "it don't matter, why are you here" I ask, "oh I don't have anything to do right now so we can watch amphibia" he claimed in
The little red bird flew out to him "hey buddy I missed you" he smiled hugging him "I'm surprised his still here" he said "I can keep things safe" I started it "whatever" he said getting comfortable, "shut up" it started and we watched till he had to go
