Y/N POV

It's been a week since the training camp ended. The male and feamle volleyball teams of Itachiyama got closer. Today, the nationals start. Right now, I'm with Akane and my teammates, waiting for our bus. Beside us, were the members of the male volleyball team, waiting for their bus as well. The girls including Mina, Jiro, Ochako and Shoto were standing with us while the boys were with the other team. We get to enter the nationals directly as we were among the top 3 teams last year. Our first opponent is Karasuno. The preliminaries in Miyagi were done a month ago. I was so shocked to find out that Wakatoshi's team lost and it was to Shoyo and Tobio's team! I wish I could've seen their match. Now, both the male and female teams of Karasuno entered the nationals. If we win the match with Karasuno, we play against Nekoma. They're a pretty good team I gotta admit. It's a little tricky to play against them. You should always stay on your guard when playing with Nekoma. Nekoma's male volleyball team is also in the nationals. Shoyou even introduced me to Kenma during the training camp. The only opponent who Kenma looks forward to is none other than Shoyou. Me and Kenma exchanged numbers and we also play games occasionally. I can't wait till the match starts! We have to win the nationals this year! Soon after 10 min, both the busses arrived. Before we left, we heard cheering sounds. When we looked back, there were all the students sending us off  and wishing both the teams good luck. That was so amazing.. They came early this early in the morning for us.

"Good luck guys! We will see you after some time!" Mina exclaimed as she waves us off

"We are rooting for you!" Ochako exclaimed

"Thanks guys" I reply while smiling behind my mask and getting on the bus

After 30 min, we reached our hotel room where we will be staying. We stay there till the nationals end. It was a 5 min walk to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, where the nationals are held. 

~~The next day~~
Y/N POV

We are currently walking inside the stadium. When we reached to the court we were playing, I spotted my family with.... Kiyoomi's family?! My god its a mess over there, it makes me so nervous. My friends and Kiyoomi's teammates were there too. There sure are a lot of people huh. Kiyoomi's match starts after the match with nekoma. They saw kept cheering for our team. I waved back with a small smile. They started announcing. So, I removed my mask and started walking towards our team. As I was walking towards our team, there were a lot of cheers from the audiences' poll of Itachiyama. I just shrugged it off and walked towards my team. The host just started a speech

 "Welcome everyone! The volleyball nationals for highschool have started, here, in Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium! Today is the first day of the nationals. First up, we have the female teams, Karasuno, going up against Itachiyama! It's the first time in 5 years that Karasuno has entered the nationals again! They are currently in the top 20 teams in Japan! This year, they've also got Fukushima Yue, one of the top 5 spikers in Japan! On the other hand, we have Itachiyama, who were among the top 3 teams last year! This year again, we have L/N Y/N, one of the top 3 spikers and setters in Japan and Akane Haruka who is one of the top 3 liberos and one of the best setters in Japan! Without further ado, let's begin the match! With Karasuno winning the toss, they chose to serve!" 

I get in position as Karasuno serves the ball. It was a jump serve by Fukushima Yue, which was perfectly received by Akane. She passes it to Asuka, who tossed the ball to Akemi. It was blocked. Damn. I gotta admit that was a perfect block. The first point goes to Karasuno. A jump serve was  done by Fukushima Yue again, which was received by Akari. She passed it to me as I tossed it to Michiko. Karasuno couldn't block it. With that its a tie. It was my turn to serve. I stand in the serving postition as I spun the ball in my hand, concentrating. As I heard the whistle, I did a jump serve. Yes! My first service ace today! It was my turn to serve again. This time I did a jump float. No touch ace! Again, it was my turn to serve. I did a jump serve which they received. They tossed it to Fukushima Yue. Her spike couldn't be blocked but it was received by Akane. Akane passed it to Asuka, who tossed it to me. Finally. I've been waiting for so long. I got too excited. I jumped as high as I can. People tell me that when I jump, it's like I'm flying. I jumped as high as I can and hit the ball with all my power. Thank god the ball didn't get damaged but the court got a little bump on the spot I hit the ball. I turned towards my teammates who looked... Proud? I then take a look at the audience poll only to see my family and friends in shock. They were literally freaking out. I just smiled at them.

We played three sets. I gotta admit. Playing against them was hard. But, we still won, 2- 1. Tomorrow, we play with Nekoma. I can't wait. I was walking to the polls until someone called me. I turn around. I was quite surprised to see the person

"Y/N senpai!" 

"Fukushima.. Yue?.." I reply confused

"You know me?! Oh my god this is the best day of my life! I'm a big fan of you Y/N senpai! I've admired you ever since you've started playing! You are the reason I started playing volleyball! I'm a first year student at Karasuno! May I take a photo with you if its fine?" She asks me which made me shocked but happy at the same time

"S- sure" I reply to which she started jumping around as she quickly takes out her phone

She asks me to pose a heart shape with her, to which I couldn't say no. After the photo she suddenly hugged me. I hugged her back hesitantly

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry senpai! I forgot you're a germophobe! But please do not worry. I've got a sanitizer spray with me" She replies as she sprays it on me and herself

"Thank you Fukushima- san" I reply while smiling

"Kyaa! You just look so pretty without the mask on! I mean you still do look pretty with a mask on, but still! You should smile more often senpai! And please call me Yue. I insist" She says as she looks at me with stars in her eyes which made me laugh

"Thanks again Yue" I reply

"Y/N! That was an amazing match. You were so awesome" Kiyoomi says as he walks up to me and suddenly hugs me out of nowhere which made me blush so bad. Someone's jealous. Yue is here too! God this is embarassing

"Are you okay? Did you get any hurt?" Kiyoomi kept asking me questions still hugging me. I look at Yue only to see her smirking

"Hello! I'm Fukushima Yue! You're Sakusa Kiyoomi, one of the top 3 spikers in Japan right?" She asks Kiyoomi

"Yes. So what?" Kiyoomi replies coldly looking at her while pulling me to his chest with one hand on my head and the other on my waist

"I just wanted to say that.... You two are a perfect couple! I ship you two!" She says as she starts squealing with hearts in her eyes which made me go as red as a tomato

"Thank you" He replies her

"But if you ever hurt Y/N senpai, I will kill you" She says while glaring at Kiyoomi

Before Kiyoomi can say anything,

"BABY SIS! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN YOUR MATCH AND IT WAS AMAZING! I'M PROUD OF YOU BABY SIS!" Mitsuri nee- san comes to me and gives me a bone- breaking hug which made Kiyoomi loose his grip on me

"N- nee- san I- I can't b- breath" I manage to say to her

"Sowwyyy" She replies while loosening her grip

"Baby sis that was really amazing! We were so shocked!" Shinobu nee- san says as she joins the hug

"I... still... can't... believe it...." Mui- nii and ne- mi say at the same time

"Oh shut up you two" Shinobu nee- san said as she pulled them to a hug. Soon, my parents and my grandpa join the hug. It felt so warm. A family hug is the best

"I agree. That was indeed very amazing. Y/N, why don't you try beach volleyball?" My grandpa asks me

"Beach volleyball... I've heard about it... I'll think about it and I'll tell you in a few days grandpa" I reply smiling at him

"AND YOU! HOW DARE YOU HUG OUR BABY SIS?! I WILL KILL YOU!!" Mui- nii and ne- mi say at the same time while glaring at him to which Kiyoomi just flinched

"I- I.." He stuttered and ran away

"OH YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANYWHERE" My brothers shout and follow him. I hope they don't kill him but that seems impossible now. Rest in peace Kiyoomi...

"Oh! Seems like Tomioka nii- san is here too!" I say while smiling

"N- nii- san?" Shinobu nee- san asks me while blushing

"Yeah! I know about you two. Grandpa does too" I say while giggling 

"What?! How did you know?" She asks me

"I met him the other day and I asked him about you two. Don't worry. I'll keep it a secret" I casually reply

"That was amazing Y/N. You did well" Tomioka nii- san comes to me as he pats my head to which I just smiled while enjoying it. That was really warm

Sakusa POV
-1 hour earlier-

I am currently walking towards the court where Y/N's match is held. I don't wanna miss a second of it. I've never seen her play before. I can't wait. I will confess to her after nationals. As I was walking, I was stopped by a lady. She looks just like Y/N but older. I look behind her only to see some other people. Probably her family

"Hey, can you tell us where L/N Y/N and her teammates' match is held at?" The lady asks me

"Uhh sure. I'm going over there. May I know what's your name?" I reply

"I'm L/N Shinobu, and the people behind me are my family. And you are?" She asks me smiling. Is she Y/N's sister?

"I'm Sakusa Kiyoomi" She seems... Shocked? She turns to her family and whispered something to them to which they just nodded while to two boys in the group started glaring at me. I just shrugged it off and ignored them.

"Sorry about that. Can you please guide us?" Shinobu- san asks me 

"S- sure" I say while leading the way. Then on the way I spot my parents. Oh no. It's gonna be a mess if my family meets them. I turn my head the other side so that my parents wouldn't see me. 

"Y/M?!" I hear my mom exclaim. Did she spot someone she know? I turn around only to see my mom hugging Y/N's mom?! 

"Ichika! It's been so long! How are you?!" Y/N's mom says as she talks  to my mom. How did they know each other?! I look at my dad only to see him talking to Y/N's dad continuously. 

"Mom!" I call her out

"Kiyoomi! There you are! We were looking for you! And meet L/N Y/M. She's my childhood bestfriend!" She says as she pulls me towards her

"A- ah.. H- hello Mrs Y/M.. I'm Sakusa Kiyoomi" I introduce myself

"Ah! Y/N talked about you! But I must say this Ichika, your son is handsome!" Y/N's mom says to my mom 

"Mom! Y/N's match is starting soon! Let's hurry!" Shinobu- san exclaims

"Okay okay! Ichika, wanna come with us? We're going to watch our daughter's match!"
