Y/n woke up by sound of her alarm. It was her first day as a second year at Itachiyama. She gets dressed and comes downstairs to cook breakfast for herself as both of her parents are busy with work. She cooks her breakfast and starts eating.
After eating, Y/n gets a call from her best friend, Akane Haruka. She picks up the call.
*On the phone*
"Y/NIEEEEEEE" Akane shouts
"Don't shout early in the morning. You're hurting my ears" Y/n says pissed
"hehe sowwyyy"
"I called you to tell you that I'll pick you up in 10 minutes" Akane said to Y/n
"hmm. I'll get ready" Y/n says back
"Okiee. See ya. Byee" Akane says and hangs up
Y/n sighs and gets up to pack up her stuff for the day including her earphones, mask and sanitizer. She puts on her mask, leaves the house and locks the door. Akane and Y/n live in the same neighborhood. She saw Akane waiting for her near the lamp post. Before Y/n says anything, Akane jumps on her and hugs her.
"Y/niee I missed chu~~" said Akane
"Hmm"
"You didn't miss me?" Akane pouts
"Let's go" says Y/n ignoring her question
They reach the school. Y/n feels disgusted looking at the crowds.
"Ugh germs. Do I have to come here?" Y/n says while sighing
"Yes, you have to." Akane says to Y/n grabbing her hand and dragging her inside
"I'm gonna stand at the corner" Y/n says to Akane as she just follows her
On the way to the corner she bumped into a guy.
"Ugh germs" They both say at the same time and start spraying the sanitizer spray at themselves.
"Sorry about him. He's just a germophobe. He's Sakusa Kiyoomi and I'm Komori Motoya. Nice to meet you!" Says the guy behind him
"Sorry about her too. She's a germophobe too. She's Y/n L/n and I'm Akane Haruka. Nice to meet you too!" Akane says
"Which class are you in?" asks Komori
"2-B" Akane replies
"That's my class too! This year I'm not in the same class as Kiyoomi. He's in 2-A" Komori says
"What a coincidence! Y/n is in that class!" Akane replies
They both keep talking to each other. On the other hand with Sakusa and Y/n...
"Watch it germ" Sakusa says
"I'm the one who is supposed to say that to you germ" Y/n replies
Sakusa and Y/n were both surprised as no boy/ girl talked to them like that before.
Sakusa scoffs
"Why am I even talking to a germ like you" he says
"Right back at ya" Y/n replied getting pissed
They both continue bickering until Akane and Komori seperate those two and start apologizing.
"Y/n! you should behave! It is not nice to call someone a germ! They will think you are rude!" Akane starts scolding Y/n
"Geez okay okay I'm sorry mom" Y/n teases Akane and starts laughing and continues walking to the orientation.
AFTER THE ORIENTATION
They go to fill their applications to join a club. They both pick the girls volleyball club.
Y/n is one of Japan's top 3 spikers same as Sakusa. She also plays her role as a setter. She is also one of Japan's best setters. She is an outstanding overall player. Akane is a setter and a libero. She is one of Japan's top 3 liberos. She was a talented setter too but she mostly plays as the libero because she thinks liberos are cool and amazing, always defending.
Meanwhile with Sakusa and Komori
"Kiyoomi! I told you! It's rude to call people germs!" Komori scolds Kiyoomi
"Okay okay I'm sorry. Now let's go fill up the club application forms"
They both pick volleyball club. Sakusa is one of the top 3 spikers in Japan. Komori is also one of the top 3 liberos in Japan. Komori introduced Sakusa to volleyball when they were kids and since then, they've been playing volleyball together.
After filling up the forms, the four of them meet again and they start going to their classes together.
"Bye Y/niee! I'll miss youu. Make sure you behave when I'm not there! Or else" says Akane to Y/n
"Geez okay okay bye" Y/n waves to Akane and sees her walking with Komori to their class
Y/n sighs and starts going to her class. When she entered the class and people started whispering to each other.
boy#1: She's so beautiful even with a mask on
boy#2: Back off! She's mine!
They start fighting.
girl#1: She's so pretty
girl#2: I know right! Let's become her friends
Sakusa hears all these whispers and looks at Y/n.
*Sakusa POV*
She really is very beautiful.. I mutter to myself
Wait- WHY AM I THINKING LIKE THIS?! SAKUSA STOP THINKING LIKE THIS!! I thought
*Y/n POV*
People started whispering when I came in. I turn my head around the class to find a seat until my eyes landed on someone. It was Sakusa. I was shocked to see him here. I kept staring at him.
He's so pretty.. I thought.
Y/N STOP THINKING LIKE THIS!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING??!!
I sighed and sat beside him as there were no other seats left. I start sanitizing the table and the chair and sat there.
