Morticia's POV:
And at that moment, Misa knocked at the door.
"MORTICIA! MORTICIA! OPEN THE DOOR!" She shouted.
I went to open the door and Misa said "Were you two in the middle of something?,"
"No, don't worry we had just drifted to sleep," L lied.
"Oh okay! But MORTICIA GUESS WHAT!" Misa said getting louder.
"Inside voice Misa," Rem pitched in.
"OH! Sorry. But Morticia we have important news!" She said quieting down.
"What is it?," I asked.
*knock knock*
L went over to answer the door. It was Light.
"Hey, I'm back," He said stepping in the door.
"Oh hey Light! We have updates on the killer!" Misa said.
"Oh let's hear it! Also I missed you Misa," Light said.
"Awh! I missed you too!" Misa exclaimed.
"Misa," Rem said.
"Yes?," Misa answered.
"Near has information. You should probably listen," Rem suggested.
"Yes. I'm sorry," She said turning to Near.
"Over here," Near said.
L, Misa and I walked toward him.
"We found where Beyond may be hiding," Near said turning towards us.
"That's good. Is there any way to clarify he truly is there?," I asked.
"Not without putting anyone in danger," Near stated.
"Sounds like I will have to go then," I said.
"MORTICIA YOU ARE NOT GOING!" L yelled.
"Listen L, I know your scared-"
He cut me off. "IM NOT SCARED. IM HORRIFIED HE IS GOING TO HURT YOU AGAIN," He shouted worryingly.
"How about this....We all team up and go together, the shinigami's too," I said trying to calm L down.
"We'll talk about it," He said firmly.
"L can we talk for a moment?," Light asked.
"I suppose so," L replied.
L's POV:
Hmm I wonder why he wants to talk.
"Listen L. I think Y/n's plan is good. I think should just get over yourself and listen to what she has to say," Light stated firmly.
"Get over myself?!" I shouted at him.
"Yes. I think you need to man up and listen," He said.
"I was listening Light. I clearly said 'We'll talk about it'," I replied smartly.
"Ugh! You and your smart ass!" Light shouted and hit me in the jaw.
Before I knew it, I swung my foot towards his face.
Y/n's POV:
I heard them raise their voices a few times and just thought it was men bickering. Until I heard "Ugh! You and your smart ass!" and then a thud.
I rushed to the hallway.
*BANG*
I ran down to the end of the hallway to see Light punching L again.
