The practice session that day was scheduled to evening

Everyone was chilling in team room
Pihu, rahul and virat just returned from the hospital

As soon they entered boys started bombarding her with questions

"Guys let her speak.. " Anushka interrupted stopping their question train

Pihu passed a thankful look to anushka

"Shoulder strain, before you guys start again it's a mild one, no need to worry, as far as the recovery is concerned I expect him to be fit by 2nd test" She sighed

They all nodded

"And rah bhai you can have something now" She added

"And you too didn't ate anything from morning" Virat said looking at her, she nodded

"Pihu and boys we will be leaving in 30 mins get ready" Ro informed them coming into the room

"Okk,I'm super hungry Karthik pls order something for me na" She asked him while she went and sat in front of bhuvi assessing his leg after she was done with bhuvi, she gave them their medicines

She was about to take the first bite when her phone rang

"Arghh can't even eat in peace" She groaned

"Bhukad kahiki" Abhay commented
She hit him with a pillow and checked the caller id only to roll her eyes looking at it

"Hii nick" She answered with a forced smile And walked in the balcony

"Yeah.. What?? " She almost yelled

"Okay.. Yeah.. Thanks... Bye" She hung up

"Don't tell me he again proposed you" Abhay asked while laughing when she entered in room

"This guy always have bad news for me"saying this She slumped on the bean bag

"Ab kya hua?" Asked karthik

"Exams prepone.. Jo exams 4 months baad the woh 2 months baad hai and saare assignments and thesis submissions dates bhi prepone kar diye hai" She whined

Both karthik and abhay kept each of their hands on each side of her shoulder and said in a dead serious tone "in short teri lag gayi hai... We can feel you"

She spat their hands away saying "nautanki" They both burst out laughing

That's when shrey came in saying
"Pihu, karthik let's go everyone is waiting for us"

"But.. " Abhay was saying something when pihu cut him off

"Just a second shrey bhai I'm coming" He nodded and left

"Chudail atleast finish your food first" Abhay said as soon as shrey left

She turned to abhay and said "koi na main baad mein khalungi, you know na rahul sir is so punctual, you just take care and please don't pull anymore stunts" She said pointing at his broken wrist, gave him a quick side hug and rushed out

She sat in the bus  unwrapped a chocolate and started eating it while she felt someone towering over her

"here, that chocolate won't be enough for you" She looked up  to find shub standing beside her with a wrap passing it to her, she exclaimed looking at that

"Yaarrr you are a life saviour" She took the wrap from his hand, he chuckled at her ,sat beside her, he took out the protein bar from his pocket and gave it to her, who was about to take the first bite, she gave it back to him and said " You have it"

To which he shook his head and replied "I'm not the one who didn't had anything from morning, it's for you only"

"Pls have it na shub" She pleaded with cute pout he awwed mentally at her

"But.. " She cut him off "actually I can't eat alone" She said scratching her nape in embarrassment "I don't really like eating alone"

He chuckled at her and pulled her both cheeks and pecked her left cheek saying "you can be really cute sometimes"

She paused in shocked for a minute, she didn't expected this atleast from him, he unwrapped the bar and had a bite, raised his brow at her who was still looking shocked , she shook her head scolding herself inwardly that it's just a normal gesture stop exaggerating, and had her wrap which he bought for her

Skip to the day before last odi

Pihu was checking everyone while the guys were practising hard in the nets to win the odi series

She heard someone calling her name she turned to find shardul behind her
"Bhai..." She paused looked at him for a couple of seconds and asked "you are not fine, what happened? "

"Pihu it's paining a bit here" He said pointing at his leg

"No worries sit down here I'll help you stretch" She told him

He sat down she stretched his leg and made him do some exercises after she was done with him she asked "are you feeling better now?"

"Yeah Much better" He replied

"Great.. But dont straight away go to the practice take a break for 15 mins then you can hit the nets" He nodded at her like an obedient child and left from there

Karthik came to her and was about to ask her something when she asked him to wait for a second , her eyes fell on ishu who was in the nets with the bowling machine

"Ishu stopp take a break" She said moving towards him karthik followed her

Ishu looked at her and said 5 minutes more

"Ishu no you are gonna strain your leg really badly stop now" But he didn't paid any heed to her and continued hitting

She was about to shout on him when her phone rang making her groan

"Ishu I'll be back in 5 mins and when I'll come back I want you out of here got it?" Saying this she moved away from there and answered the call

Exactly after few minutes ishan yelled in pain clutching his leg boys ran to him
Some one said "call pihu quickly"

Deepak ran to search her, he found her in the extreme corner of the ground with her head in her hands looking really pissed as soon as she saw him she knew something was wrong she went with him quickly when she reached her anger rose she told him to stop but he didn't heard her and now here he is, she just grabbed her kit

They were all in the changing room now she kept some pillows under his leg for elevation , took an ice pack and sat applying it on the area which was starting to swell, she didn't uttered a word since the time she came which was very unusual of her, it was clear from her face that she is angry yet her actions were smooth, she was applying ice in a delicate manner not wanting to hurt him further, ishan realised her anger looking at her face, he knew it would've been better if he had listened to her but he didn't, he thought just to mess with her atleast she'll open her mouth, he started poking her arm and cheeks but he didn't got any reaction from her, he got an idea he knew it was evil but he still yelled in pain when she pressed ice pack on his other side of the leg making her look up at him with worry

"Pihu pls will you do it a bit softly" Ro said

"Haha bhai I was just messing up, she was soft only" Ishan said making her lose her control

"Everything is a joke for you, ever thought of listening to others, didn't I told you already to stop it but did you listen? No, I told you , you are gonna hurt your leg but did you listen? No, you think all this is a joke, now you are fucking messing up with me after all this" She shouted on him

"Stop shouting on him it was your job to look after us, where do you think you were?" Someone yelled at her
