"Are you ready, dear?" I asked as Mallie sat at her desk, my notebook sitting Infront of her to read from. Her room was nice and comforting, and the light from outside gave it an aesthetically pleasing look.
"Yeah, I've been ready," she stated, chuckling as she did.
"Alright! 3... 2... 1... Play," I exclaimed, starting the video and quietly watching her play. She gently played the melody to Cardinal, singing our lyrics as she did. With every word, I felt the weight of emotions, but I couldn't help but smile at her as she played the song. Her voice was so beautiful, a clear, higher pitched voice that sounded like harmony.
With every vibration of the guitar, I saw the story within our lyrics play through my mind. It was beautiful, she was beautiful, our song was beautiful, and our relationship was perfect. I was so happy to call Mallie the girl of my dreams. Because in the end, Mallie was everything I could've ever wanted...
