Unexpected Friends

So now it was down to the 8 final trainers. These trainers included:

Neo
Iris
Cilan
Clemont
May
Ash
and 2 other people

At this point it was coming to the point where everyone in the crowds could identify the two trainers that overshadowed the rest.

Those trainers to be identified were Neo and Ash.

The two clearly overshadowed the rest with their skill and Strategies.

Ash as of now was sitting on a hill overlooking the stadium.

"Nice view am I right?" Someone interrupted Ash in his thoughts

"Yes, Now if i'm correct, you are the other trainer most likely going to make it to the finals" Ash replied

"You would be correct about that" Neo said as he released his Gardevoir to wander around with the Glaceon that hopped off his shoulder

"So... How did you get so strong" Ash asked

"You wouldn't believe me, but I'm 14 and underwent some harsh things at a young age." Neo said

"I'd rather not let you pour your feelings out, here" Ash said

"Ash! There you are!" Aria exclaimed running up to him

"And This is my girlfriend Aria." Ash introduced while pointing at her

"As in the former Kalos Queen?" Neo asked

"Yes, although she doesn't like the title" Ash replied

"I see, Well hello then, I am Neo, the one to most likely compete in the finals against Ash" Neo introduced

"I think we've all heard that" Aria replied

"So continue my story, I was treated harshly as a child, So when I turned 11 I started on my Pokemon Journey, at that age I had heard of all of your stories, how you defeated Team Rocket, Plasma, Aqua/Magma, Galactic, etc. And I strived to be just like you, so I took on the Sinnoh League two times before coming here. Where I trained... was Mount Coronet, I was a lone trainer with a cold personality. Which I am." Neo stopped a tear rolling down his cheek

"I don't think I heard of you while I was there" Ash said

"At the time I wasn't well known, however when I went back to Hoenn to go home. My parents disowned me and my friends ditched me. Everyone in my life was gone. And so I ditched everything and stayed atop Mount Coronet for another year before coming here and so here I am." Neo replied

"That sounds rough, What types of pokemon do you have?" Ash asked

"Well If I told you right now you would find a way to counter me, but you already know I have a Gardevoir and Glaceon. So that's 2" Neo replied

"Cool. So what now?" Ash asked

"I have to head back, my battle starts soon, I've been waiting for you to make it to the finals so make sure to make it through!" Neo exclaimed before walking off

A few Minutes later:

Ash and his friends were going to watch the battles before his battle. In order to figure out strategies.

The match they had gone to first was Neo vs Iris. This would be an easy win for Neo as they found out later.

"So you're the unemotional trainer? Seems like a kid to me!" Iris shouted

"Actually Iris I am a kid, In fact I'm only 1 year younger than you." Neo retorted

"Maybe you can be a part of my friend group once we're done here." Iris said
