POLAR APART PERSONALITIES!

Start from the beginning

I attempted to reach not to land him on the hard surface but his weight wasn't helping me in it. "Hey," I kneeled beside him. "Please don't close your eyes," his dark orbs had a slight glimmer as he glimpsed at me beside him.

"Rudr!..." I heard a confused voice and changed into a shocked one within a second. "Ehaan!" And soon I heard a number of steps. I couldn't force my eyes away from Ehaan in the fear that he would close his. Nor did he had diverted his orbs from me. "What the hell!" The chores engulfed the surrounding.

From blabbering, cursing, yelling to punches. I slowly backed myself away as his friend arrived. Having a little argument with Rudr. Aarav and Kunal ended up in the fight. Ehaan wasn't harmed much just was on the verge of getting unconscious due to lack of oxygen travelling his body. Though his friends were urging him for a check-up he brushed it off.

They soon left and I was rooted to the place, Samaira attempted to initiate a conversation but seeing my lack of interest she stopped her attempt. "Is this the dress chosen?" She inquired, gaining my attention. The dress the whole time was lying on the marble black floor, I offered a slight nod.

"Was it that shocking?" She interrogated, keenly observing my state. I stared at her for a minute before responding.

"I... don't... know..." it came out in shutters. Maybe I had walked out of the shock but what was exactly that was so baffling? It wasn't like I hadn't seen such things in movies, maybe the smirk seen on Rudr face wasn't brushing off. Did humans have two sides? Two polar apart personalities? Did they hide the one and showcase the other to the world? Why does it seem so with both the boys? Why does it seem that maybe I was wrong judging them? Maybe more was hidden behind their mask!

And the biggest thing scaring me was the overgrowing feeling towards Ehaan. I was dazed from within! Seeing Ehaan on the verge of dying. Maybe it would be difficult to forgive Rudr for it!

I took in a deep breath as I allowed myself to drive in the thoughts. I felt a firm touch of my shoulder, bringing me back to earth. "You don't need to trouble yourselves..." she assured with a smile. "Maybe some things are better kept unexamined." She suggested, staring at my stressed self. I gave a nod, maybe she was correct. I shouldn't stress myself, maybe I should move with the flow. Not bother to overthink much but it never stopped my mind from doing its work. That was overthinking!

One day was left for the competition. All our work was going to pay! Though I wanted our school to win deep down most crucial part was to offer my best in the event. Hope that our entire team provide their best, that was my goal! Due to the upcoming event, all the participants were offered a day full of dance practice. In better words, we could skip our entire studies schedule for a day.

So, Samaira expressed her envy as she had to rot in the class while I could enjoy my day. That also meant many won't be visiting the auditorium today as they weren't participants. The news that the principal would pass by, had halted them from bunking their class. I stood near the window glancing at the morning scenery, it had become my favourite place during the practice session. Enjoy the beauty of nature!

"Heard Ehaan and Rudr had a huge fight yesterday?" I heard a faint whisper from the person beside me. I pressed a smile at her, she was Rudr partner. I gave a simple nod not wanting to initiate a gossip.

"Why? I heard you were present at the moment? Was it worse as always?" She inquired, her black orbs dancing a little in excitement about new juicy gossip.

"Yes..." I nodded trying to provide as little information as possible. I want her to walk off but I can't directly convey it to her. It would be rude! I found her frustrated with me as she didn't get my clue. Continuing with her interrogation while I offer her a small response.

"What was the fight about?" She sounded annoyed at my lack of interest in gossiping, her eyes blank at me. Fight! Maybe they had a misconception as they caught me with Ehaan in such close proximity. The reason was Mia, Rudr got protective of him. Then why my heart wasn't convinced. Why did I feel there was something beyond it? Was it just due to Mia? I knew Rudr growing interest in me but would that strike the battle? According to Anuj, he had argued with Mia for me. As I was lost in my own confusion the door creak open and the girl before me walked away on glancing at the source.

Rudr entered inside unlike before Kunal wasn't accompanying him as he wasn't participating. For a change, they did fear Principal, Mrs Veronica. His eyes ranked at the surroundings coming to rest on me. Those blue orbs weren't shining as before rather conveying he was displeased with me. I frowned my brows, something inside me felt sad due to his actions. I never adored people upset with me. It would offer me a smile if I was the reason behind someone else happiness.

"Is the leader late as always?" Though the question wasn't directed at me, his eyes were trained on me.

And as if Ehaan was waiting for his taunt, the door opened and he walked in. Much to my amazement, he wasn't alone Aarav accompanying him yet he wasn't participating. He stood rooted in his place as his eyes landed on Rudr. His jaw clenched, a hand fisted in anger. And slowly his eyes moved to the direction Rudr was staring, landing on me. His dark orbs were fuming in anger. The reddish lip pressed into a thin line, his breathing increasing at an uneven pace. I could imagine the loud beating of his heart.

"Much to your disappointment a few minutes late than you..." he mocked back again his eyes never left mine. What was it with them and their 'not so amazing' intense gaze? Their figure was daunting enough yet they had to scare the shit out of me with those dangerous, frightening orbs!

"Get on the dance floor!" He announced tore his gaze away from me. Walking towards the raised platform, my eyes moved towards his friend. He was keenly observing me from top to toe, shook his head in disappointment. I glared at his back, sometimes I was convinced Aarav was the real brother of Mia. They were so alike in many things! One was making another feel inferior.
