Third In Command (Completed)

Chapter One.

I pulled myself into bed and decided to take a cold shower to freshen my body. I smiled from the awakening sound coming from my phone, I knew it was Mellisa trying to scream at me for making her wait in such a long time.

"Hello... " I mockingly answered her call putting my hair up in a towel.

"What the ef Lia! you're taking such a long time!" She buzzed her tone clearly irritated.

"Yeah yeah just give me a minute, I'm coming down," I said to her and ended our call.

If you are wondering why she will have to call me just to say things, and not using the mind link? It's because Mellisa is a human and not a werewolf like me. She was our beta's mate and I swear she acts more like a werewolf than me.

Changing my clothes. I took a pair of jeans and a baggy black t-shirt for school today, clearly not wanting to show much. Why? because I'm not that kind of girl that likes to show her skin to people and flirt with guys just to make herself look cool and popular.

Seriously? What's cool in flirting?

I then put my long black hair down, leaving curls at the bottom and had some black linings to my eyes, showing how beautiful it was in the inside.

My eyes were colored black and blue, which I found very pretty and it suits me well, I just love everything about myself and do not intend to complain about a single thing.

Lastly, I put on my pink lip gloss and took my things to go downstairs, where Mellisa is currently waiting for me.

Just when I came down Mellisa rose her left eyebrow while staring at me feeling very anxious about my minute problems.

"Don't stare at me as if you're, not the only one waited for a long time," I said pointing on what she did to me yesterday. 

"Well, that was because I have an appointment." She defended herself. 

"Oh yeah? an appointment with your mate I see." She blushed at the moment I mentioned mate.

"Well, that doesn't mean you should do it back to me! I'm obviously late for my exam!" I rolled eyes and pointed Jason her mate our beta. 

"Negotiate with your mate Mel he can fix it," I said as Jason came in and kissed Mellisa right away.

For a seventeen-year-old like me? I could just say JEALOUS!

"What's wrong here hon is everything okay?" Jason asked her in a sweet tone.

Oh boy, these couples sickened me.

"Nothing hon can we just go to school now?" Jason nodded and smiled at her. 

"Sure honey let's go the car is ready."

Clearing my throat finally they snapped their attention to me.

"Can't we just go and leave without you two hugging and kissing?" I sarcastically said and they both just laughed at me.

"Sorry, Lia we can't just help it," Jason said and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah right."

Mellisa was like a little sister to me and she was in junior year, while Jason and I are on the Senior year. And today was the juniors final examination while for us seniors, is our last Graduation practice for tomorrow's ceremony.

When we got to the school I couldn't help but get bored with our Graduation Practice. I'm so tired in sitting and clapping and listening and standing over and over again, If not only for some humans here. I probably growled seconds ago.

"Hey, Alpha Roderick said we have a meeting after school," Jason informed me and I nodded my head.

"Tired?"

"Yeah, I wish I could just roll in my bed," I commented and he just laughed.

"Don't worry Lia today is our last day, and soon we will be announced as graduates." He insisted.

Oh yeah, we will.

Arriving in the pack house Jason and I quickly went to Alpha Roderick's office for a pack meeting to talk about what happened a week ago. And when alpha saw us both he looked like so confused and problematic. He told us about the murder happened and placed the pictures on the table.

He then spoke.

"This was the second time around that an Alpha was killed and murdered after Alpha Nicolas's death, do you know what's the meaning of this?" Alpha Roderick pointed. 

Taking the pictures on the table, I couldn't help but grin evilly.

Good for you asshole. I thought in mind staring at Alpha Vincent's dead body.

"Could It be Alpha Troy Nicolas? He was announced a week ago as Alpha of the Moon Dark Pack, after all maybe he's seeking revenge." Jason stated thinking of a conclusion.

"No, he couldn't be. He hated his father after all, and besides all the pack massacre was stopped since his father's death." 

Alpha said putting the picture down while thoughts keep running in my mind.

"Maybe he wasn't contented. I mean a monster's blood would always rise even though it had cleansed, maybe he tries to kill silently." I said bitterness in my tone.

"Lia is right Alpha maybe he does." Jason agreed with me.

"I don't know, all I can do right now is investigate till I figure this out." Alpha Roderick said before we were dismissed.

"I'll just go on patrol," Jason said and I nodded.

Going up to my room, I can't help but feel triumph to myself.

Finally, two monster's were gone.

After the incident that happened to me seven years ago. I learned myself that some people are not worth so much to trust for. 

I was welcomed to Alpha Roderick's pack, raised and trained to be strong. I became the third in command and had friends that only I could trust.

Taking the paper that I hid beneath my bed, I marked my next target werewolf.

I started putting my hair in a bun, then wore my black suit, and black mask that only my eyes could be seen. Lastly, I managed to take my silver weapons, shoving it side by side that made my scent unnoticeable.

Finishing my set up, I looked into the mirror to stare at myself.

"I will kill them all."
