However having the same genes is a little bothersome as some of Irk's security systems require a genetic key (they're DNA is like a social security number.) to bypass certain restrictions or to make bank accounts, if you have the same genes, but aren't listed as the same gender on profile, (unless said Irken has personally asked for their gender to match with what they identify as.) You could be arrested and held for identity theft, (which is how Red find out about Varda.) On the off chance that the siblings do end up meeting, it can be a very astounding moment for them, because every Irken has a unique scent or mark they use to Identify each other with so finding someone with the same scent/mark as you is pretty mindboggling.

Often the siblings have the urge to be to always be close to one another, it's not uncommon for the new found family to start living together after meeting. There have been some cases were the Irken siblings would develop almost telepathic-like bond with each other, If one sibling was hurt then their sibling(s) would feel a phantom pain in that same spot.
