I turned around and said, "I am so lucky to have you Krish."

He pulled me into a warm hug and softly spoke, "I am always here for you Keya. I always will be. I gave it a thought and have realised that you might want to get into relationships and make some decisions which won't be my favourite ones, but I promise I will always stand by you and also I will be there to break the bones of anyone who tries to mess with my princess! I mean it"

I tightened the hug. This was so Krish. Though he went over the board at times with the guys I have dated but all that is just coz he cares for me. I can always count of him. But I am surely not getting into some serious relationship until and unless he lets a girl enter his heart.

Though God had been cruel to me by taking away my family, I couldn't thank him less for giving me Krish and his parents. I surely am the luckiest girl.

"Now lets get some rest. You don't wanna be tired around the kids tomorrow.", Krish said.

"No Chance!", I replied and we proceeded towards our respective beds.

Krish's POV:

"Peeeeeeeeeeeeepp Peeeeeepp!!!".

Holy Shit! I literally leaped out of my bed due to the annoying sound. It turned out to be nothing but my parents with those party poppers.

"Happy Birthday Keyaa!", they shouted around Keya's bed. Dad had balloons in his hand and Mom held the homemade chocolate cake! What were they? Pre-schoolers??

I shaked my head in amusement as I joined them and we sang the birthday song for Keya. She nodded her head to the tune and was enjoying the attention! She cut the cake and fed us each a piece. We fed her almost the entire cake!

"Mom look, what Krish got me!", she said with excitement and tucked her hair behind her ears.

"Wow! These are lovely!", Mom said examining the studs and giving me an astonished look.

"Great job son! You didn't even ask me for money. I'm impressed that you managed this", Dad patted my shoulder.

"I have earned in australian dollars for a year Dad. I surely have enough bank balance to buy that and much more", I winked and turned to morn simultaneously. Next gift would be for her.

I had to do a job for a year in Australia since I had already completed my degree and I had to give company to Keya for a year more.

"Well that does give my gift a run!", he handed out a similar sized box to Keya.

"What's this? More diamonds??",

Keya laughed. She started unwrapping the box. She would surely enjoy an addition to her collection of diamonds!

It was a small black box and as she opened it her face went blank.

Now this wasn't an expression I was expecting. I walked around Mom to see what it was.

I shouted,"Holy son of a ...", Mom slapped my head before I could complete.

It was a key. Not just any key! I could identify this key even in my sleep!

"S..S..Seriously??", Keya stammered.

"See for yourself", Mom replied.

Without saying another word Keya and I ran out of the room as if our life depened on it!

"Carefull on the the stairs!", I heard Mom behind us.

"Oh my god. Oh my god.", Keya kept repeating as we made our way to the front.

The doors opened and BAAMMM!!
