He raised his head and his eyes caught someone. He looked up and what he saw made him freeze without thinking he pushed Tina roughly out of his way. Fortunately, she landed her butt on one of the seats beside them. But that didn't stop her from shrieking at the impact and she turned toward Demilade with a glare.

Her words were cut short in her throat when she noticed the look of horror and plead on Demilade face. But it was not directed toward her. He wasn't even looking at her. His attention was on the door.

She followed his gaze and her eyes landed on his so-called fiancée. She was standing at the entrance frozen, looking at them with disbelief and something she noticed as pain on her face.

"It's not what you think." She heard Demilade say. His voice was filled with fear. It was obvious he was scared and she looked at him.

He took a step down the short steps. She smirked. He really must love his fiancée seeing how quickly his countenance had changed and the look of sheer horror on his face. She thought.

"It is exactly as you think dear," Tina said adjusting herself on the seat she had fallen on.

Demilade stopped and he turned to her with a glare.

"What? Won't you tell her the truth?" She said to Demilade.

"You better shut up Tina." He snapped at her. He quickly turned to Lola who was still watching them. He shook his head. "Don't listen to her. And it is not what you think Lola. I mean it."

"Stop lying to her Demilade. You were ready to have sex with me on this table," She touched the desk. "so I could give you the contract. And it is the truth sweetheart. You saw him right?"

Demilade didn't even mind what Tina said, instead, he said to his fiancée. "Lola... I swear to God, it's not what you think." His voice sounded pleading as he quickly moved close to her. He could see the horror look on Lola's and it made his heart skip. He imagined what she might be thinking. The different thoughts that might be going through his head. All those wrong thoughts. She might be having wrong thoughts about the position he met him and Tina.

Lola looked at Tina with hatred and she saw the smirk dancing at the corner of her lips where she sat watching them with hands folded under her bosom.

Then she gave Demilade an exasperated look.

"How could you?" Lola asked, her voice low and cloaked.

Demilade frowned in confusion. "No, that's not true. Are you going to believe her over me?" He asked, shocked. "You know that I will never do that."

"After seeing that... I don't think I know what you can do." She said to him with tears forming lines on her face.

"No, Lola. It's not that. It is not what you're thinking. I will never do that."

"That's what they all say," Tina muttered but loud enough for them to hear.

"Get out of here Tina." Demilade barked at her. "Don't mind her. Don't listen to her Lola."

Lola said nothing. She just wiped her tears and then she turned around and leave.

"Lola... Lola... Lola." Demilade called after his girlfriend but she didn't act like she heard him calling her name
Demilade turned to Tina who was just watching the scene unfold. A smirk lay on her face when Demilade glared at her.

She was enjoying the show. She had wanted to hurt him the exact way he did to her with his words and heaven was on her side.

Demilade turned around and ran after his fiancee, calling after her.
