He was ignoring her. The gut of him.

But she couldn't get too mad. She was still contented hearing from her secret informant that his fiancée had broke up with him and no one had heard from her in a week.

The poor bitch had probably curled herself in a hole somewhere, thinking that her fiance cheated on her.

What a fool!

That wasn't really her concern. Although, it was a piece of very good news. Paying Demilade back for his rejection and words was so good. His little heartbreak was enough to pay back. His girlfriend's stupidity had helped her. And that is what matters.

"I heard she break up with you." She laughed. "She must be really stupid." She said and laughed again.

Demilade said nothing and he kept typing on the system like he had been doing since she walked in.

"The girl you're being so faithful to has finally dumped you."

"Are you done?" Demilade asked without looking at her. The tone of his voice surprised her. His voice held venom and for a second, it scared her.

Slowly, he peered at her. It was obvious that he was furious. He was just containing it. He wasn't smiling at her. It's like he has never smiled in his entire life. His face was stone cold.

She looked away from his eyes and swallowed.

"Well, that's both your problem. Not that I care." She said. "And since I get half of my revenge, you can have the deal." She looked up at him. His face still held that stoic expression.

"Do you hear what I say at all?" She asked. He said nothing to her. He was still scowling at her. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat and tried acting confidently like she wasn't scared of him. She dug her hand into her bag and brought out a file. She threw it close to him. "You can thank me for being so generous to sign the deal. So there," She gestured with her head and nails. "You have the contract."

"Is that all?" He questioned flatly.

"Yes," She answered.

She watched as he looked down at the file. He opened it and stared at the papers with their agreement and her signature sealing the deal.

He took the papers and then he stood up. She wondered what he was thinking. And she saw him take a few steps to a corner in the room and he turned on the wall socket behind a black machine. Then he dug the paperwork in the opening on top of the machine and she watched in sheer horror as the papers shredded into pieces.

Demilade had used a paper shredder to shred the contract paperwork, right in front of her.

He dusted imaginary dust from his hands, switched off the wall socket and he walked back to his seat.

"I think our contract has ended here. Now you can go."

"Did you... Did you just shred the papers?" She asked in disbelief. She looked back from him to the paper shredding machine. "You shred the papers with the contract agreement. Are you mad?"

"I won't repeat myself. Get out of my office."

She scoffed. Then she began to laugh like a maniac.

"Do you have any idea what you just did? Do you know how many billions you are going to lose with your stupid decision?"

He leaned his arms on the table and with his stoic face, he said to her.

"I'm just sitting here like I am not. I already lost something worse than a trillion. So let me tell you this Tina. Let this be the first and the last time I am going to see your face or that you will ever step foot in my company. Because the next time that you do, I won't care who your father is and how much I respect him. I might do something we will both regret. Believe me, it's not a warning. It's a threat." She swallowed hard. She could see that he meant every word. His eyes alone scare her to the bone.

But she can't give him that satisfaction. It should be the other way around. He should be scared of her. She was more powerful than him. She has more money than he does.

"So now," He spoke in the same venomous tone, leaning back on his seat. "Now that we have no business together, kindly walk out of my office."

"What?!" She asked in disbelief.

He said nothing to her and he picked up the office phone on his table, dial some numbers on it and he placed the phone on his ear.

"You have less than one minute to be in my office unless you'll lose your job." He said to the person he called. Then he dropped the phone.

He turned to his computer and continued with what he was previously doing.

Tina stared at him like he was a lunatic. She couldn't believe what had happened. She was still staring at him in shock when the door opened and four hefty security men came in, all in their uniforms.

They walked further into the room and then the one who seem to be their leader said.

"Good day, Mr. Demilade. You called for us." He said with respect.

"Get the bitch out of my presence." He said to the men. "And make sure she never steps foot in my company. You know what will happen if I see her."

"Yes sir."

"Madam stand up." The man said. His voice had changed from a respectful tone to a demanding and scary one.

Tina released a chuckle and she stood up.

"Well played, Demilade." She laughed. "Well played. Take your filthy hands off me." She barked at one of the security men that held her hands, trying to take her out. He didn't even budge at her yell.

"You should leave now." He said to her, unfazed at her glare.

She jerk her hands off him and rubbed the spot he held her, panting.

"You'll pay for this insult, Demilade. I assure you." She picked up her bag.

"And just so you know..." She paused and looked at Demilade who was still staring at her with his cold eyes. "You never meant anything. Just like you, I only wanted the deal with you. You didn't own an ounce of my respect or feelings. So it was all nothing." Then he looked away and continued with his task.

She fumed while she stared at him then the security guard beside her pulled her hands. She jerk her hands from his and pushed him away even if he didn't move an inch and then she stormed out of the office with the security men following behind her.

She had always thought it was just a joke when she read about him and his principles. She thought she could break those rules like most men around her. She believed she was irresistible to men. But she was fucking wrong.

The guy proves her damn wrong.
