She tapped her long heel on the floor, thinking hard about what to do.
She groaned loudly and then she swept half of the content on her desk to the ground causing it to make a loud thumping sound on the floor. Immediately her personal assistant rushed in and he looked down at the mess she had made on the floor. Then he looked up at her.
"Leave. I'm fine." She snapped at him.
"Should I..." He was saying.
"Leave." She barked at him and she turned her chair around, backing him.
The guy stood glaring at her back, then he adjusted his blazer and walked out of the office without saying any other thing.
Tina heaved a sigh and leaned her head on the headrest of the seat, frustrated.
It was hard to see a man like Demilade. She was still finding it hard to believe a man like him existed. It looked like a movie to her. It was unbelievable. She couldn't believe he refused to sign the contract after everything she had put him through.
Demilade was hard to get. Really hard to get.
She had been so excited when her father and uncle decided to let her handle the family contract. And more especially when she finds out that Demilade Ninalowo is one of those competing for the contract.
She had always wanted the opportunity to meet Demilade. The chance to speak with him and even get to his bed. Even if it is just once. That was more than enough for her. She had fantasized about it for a long time since the first time that she saw him in the entertainment magazine when she came to Nigeria.
The deal was supposed to have ended a long time ago probably two to three weeks after the proposal begin. But she intentionally procrastinates and keeps pushing it forward.
She needed to earn Demilade trust. She needed him to warm up to her. The guy was too formal. He was really hard. He doesn't give people a chance. Everything seems to be strictly business to him. And finally, when she was getting to have what she wanted, it has to be ruined by his dimwitted fiancée. The daughter of a bitch.
She wondered if the lady had used some kind of voodoo on him. Because she wondered how a man could be so faithful or should she call it blinded. She had done nothing than play nice. She had never been so nice and had to pretend so much like she did when she was with Demilade. And she did all that because she want him. But the guy was so hard to please. God knows what his god-forsaken fiancée used on him for him to like her so much.
His stupid principles were another thing.
She had always thought it was just a joke when she read about him and his principles. She thought she could break those rules like most men around her. She believed she was irresistible to men. But she was fucking wrong. The guy proves her damn wrong.
His attitude when she went to see him a week later was proof and it was totally unexpected and unbelievable.

She sat in front of the handsome owner of Demilade Construction Empire. He wasn't even acting like she was there.
It had been almost impossible to see him. His secretary had refused to let her in and the bitch was adamant. And after so many talks and threats, his PA decided to let her in.
And ever since she set foot in the room, he had been quiet, acting like she was invisible. She had been sitting in front of Demilade for a while, thinking he will have something to say to her or better still ask her what she was doing in his office. But he didn't. He acted like she wasn't even in the room.
