"Yeah, you're right," He admitted."And I am sorry."

"Common, you already apologized. It's in the past." She was quiet for a while. "And there was the necklace you gave me last year during our vacation to Hawaii." She touched the chain on her neck. She wore it almost every day. Fortunately, it was made of real silver and was very delicate. It was hard to notice her neck except when she wear something that reveals her neck and shoulder blades.

It was one of her most priceless belongings. She loves the necklace so much. "And now.... this too." She grinned at herself. She wriggled her fingers. "It's just so beautiful."

Demilade said nothing but just smiled at himself. He loved it too.

He remembered the first time that he saw it at a jewelry shop. He hadn't even thought of proposing when he saw it at the jewelry shop in Italy. He knew it was the right one immediately and he went into the shop to get it. Although he did a bit of rebranding to the ring afterward he loved the design and colors on it.

"Why did you decide to get a ring with five colors?" Lola asked, looking up at him with eyes filled with curiosity.

He adjusted his position then he positioned his hand back on Lola's shoulder.

"There are two reasons why I decided to get the ring." Lola stared at him, curiously. She was so anxious to hear his reply. But Demilade was intentionally taking time to tease her.

"C'mon tell me."

"You can guess one of them." He said with an amused smile.

She rolled her eyes. "I don't want to guess." Then she made puppy eyes at him. He laughed hard before answering her. "You know that I can't resist you when you do that."

"I know." She answered with a smirk.

He brushed the hair on her plaided hair while he answered her question.

"Firstly, you like a strip of colors. I know it doesn't have as much color as a rainbow but it still contains more than two colors."

"Yeah." She grinned. She could have never thought that he would pick a ring for a such simple thing as her favorite color. She traced her finger on the five colored diamonds.

Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Purple.

"That's sweet." She commented and she pecked him on the lips, winking at him. He chuckled, amused. "And what's the second reason?"

"Us." He took her hand with his finger and stared at it for some seconds. "I want it to represent us. You, me, my family, your family, and the love that binds us all." He answered touching each of the little stones on the ring.

Lola chuckled amazed and impressed. She leaned upward and kissed his lips.

"You never cease to amaze me every single day." She commented close to his face when she broke the kiss.

Demilade smirked, as he brushed the bottom of his lip with his tongue. He shrugged innocently.

She doesn't think she could even think of a such thing. She wasn't a genius like him. If she had been in his shoe. She would have to pick something either because it was expensive and had a lot of worth or because she was sure it was beautiful.

He did it for beautiful reasons.

It was incredible of him.

It was really incredible.

"I could have never thought of that. You're real genius."

"Thank you," Demilade replied.
