"Thank you. This is... just too much."

"No, it isn't," Demilade answered as he pulled away. She dabbed her teary eyes and smiled gratefully.

"How are you?" He asked looking at her face.

"Excited. Surprise and overwhelm." Lola exclaimed with a short laugh.

"That's a good thing. Thanks for waiting for me."

"Anytime. Moreover, it is worth it." She said looking back at the rose petals decoration on the floor.

Demilade nodded with a smile. "Let's go and sit."

"Where?" Lola asked and she looked around, and that was when she noticed the round table with the candles, dishes, and roses. It was directly in the middle of the room. She peered at Demilade with a questioning gaze. "That wasn't there when I came in, was it?"

Demilade chuckled. "Of course, it was. It didn't appear out of thin air. I don't have that kind of magic." She slapped his arms playfully. "The light just turns on now."

"Then this is going to be the most beautiful date I ever have with you." She smiled and walked toward the table with enthusiasm.

She gasped when she got to the table. The table was larger up close. There were just two chairs. The table was decorated with a white and red table cloth and it has some pleated designs around the tablecloth.

She loved the lights that decorated the table, lighting the table. There was another bouquet of red and white flowers at the center of the table. She picked it up and brought it close to her nose to perceive it. She love it as it smelled nice. She held it and she turned back to the table.

There were silver dishes set on the table with cutlery, plates, and servett in front of each seat. There was a small round chocolate cake with red cherry at the edges on a turntable beside the flower bouquet on the table.

Demilade came up beside her and he draw the chair backward for her to seat. She smiled, realizing she was still standing, admiring the content of the table. Then she muttered thanks and sat down, and placed her handbag on the table. He replied with a smile, walked over to the other side of the table and he took his seat.

"This is... awesome." She commented as she perceived the flower once again. "It's the least of what I was expecting. What makes you over-romantic today?" Then she dropped it back to its position with caution.

"You."

"Me?"

"Hmm. I want to do something different. I want to see that beautiful smile on you. That surprise and happy smile on your face. And that's why I came up with this." He gestured at the table.

"I'm overwhelmed. Seriously. It's just... Beautiful. I feel on top of the world right now. But isn't all too much?"

"I want to make your day special because you are special. You should know that."

Lola blushed and she covered her face. Demilade knows how to make a girl drool.

"I don't know what to say, Demmy. Thank you."

He waved it off. He looked around at the dishes on the table. "Hope you don't mind, I'm a bit famished right now?" He opened a dish.

Lola chuckled. "Of course not. I haven't had dinner either." She told him, looking around at the dishes.

Demilade nodded, relieved. He opened the dishes one after the other as Lola just stared at him, hands under her chin with her elbow resting on the table.

"Vegetable salad?" Lola said not too pleased as Demilade opened the first and second dishes.

"I've been craving a vegetable salad." He said as he served himself. "I know you're not really a fan of it. Here." He opened another one close to her.
