She looked around at the surrounding and it was deserted. No one was in sight except the car that had dropped her.

She was about to take a step when the glass door slide up and someone came out of the front door.

"Hi, Good evening." She greeted Dayo with a smile as he walked toward her.

He smiled back, appreciatively. "Good evening Miss Lola."

"I've told you my name is Lola. You should call me that." Lola scolded him.

He nodded. "I will put that mind." She nodded. "Mr. Demilade is waiting inside." He gestured toward the building. "He is on an important call that's why he couldn't get you himself."

"I understand." She said and chuckled. It was typical of her boyfriend.

"Come with me please." He said politely. She nodded and she followed behind him. He opened the door for her and they both walked into the building.

The building was quite dark as the only source of light in the room was dim lights coming from somewhere in the building.

Lola followed closely behind Dayo who seem to know his way perfectly in the half-lit room.

Then he stopped. "I think this is where I stop," He turned around to face her. "Just go through that door," He pointed at a door a few feet away from them. "He is waiting in there." Lola nodded. "And happy birthday Lola. Many more years to you."

Lola chuckled and said. "I'm grateful. Thanks."

"It's a pleasure. You should go now. See you later." He said to her and he went away while Lola headed towards the door.

She walked toward the door and opened the polished door. The room was identical to the one she just came from with the same dim lights.

She looked around and she couldn't find anyone in sight. She could hardly see what was in the room. Then some small candle lights turned on in front of her, at her feet. She grinned on seeing the different colored electrical candles lit on the floor forming a pathway. At the center of the walkway were red rose petals.

It made her heart swell with joy and pride. It was so beautiful of him. He had never done such before. She can't believe he planned it for her. And it brought a happy grin to her face.

She played along and walked along the narrow walkway of rose petals and candles formed on the marble floor. The further she walked into the room, the new lights turn on. Then the pathway stopped directly in front of a flower bouquet arranged circularly on the floor. At the center were red rose petals decorated to write the words 'Happy Birthday Tiwalola'.

One of her hands went up to her chest and the other covered her mouth. She felt tears gather in her eyes, touched by the decoration made by her boyfriend. She grinned, as she flushed with excitement. It was beautiful. The intricate way the flowers were arranged and the colors. It blended so well. And there was also the fact that Demilade did all of it for her.

Demilade voice brought her back to reality when he said calmly behind her so as not to frighten her.

"How is it?" He asked.

She placed a hand on her chest and spun around to face Demilade. She stared at him with glassy eyes and her hands still placed on her chest.

"Romantic. And lovely." She commented.

Demilade lips quirk to a smirk and he nodded. He moved close to her and pulled her into an embrace.

"I'm glad you like it. Happy birthday again dear." He said and he kissed the side of her head.
