Demilade also chuckled with relief and he put his arms around her, hugging her back. He soothed her on the back and kissed her head.

He felt so relieved to hear her accept his proposal. Deep down him, he knew there was a seventy percent possibility that Lola will accept his proposal but it didn't change the fact that he was scared that he will mess things up or that she might change her mind and refuse to accept his proposal, making up for the remaining thirty percent of the possibility.

But that fear had disappeared when she said yes. It was the best word he heard that day.

After crying on his chest for a while, she finally pulled away, sniffed and she stretched her left hand in front of Demilade and he quirk a brow.

"Isn't that mine?" She asked gesturing at the ring box in his hand.

He raised it and peered at it then he chuckled in realization. He had forgotten that the box was still with him and he hasn't worn the ring for her.

"Sorry. Yeah, it's your future Mrs. Ninalowo." He said teasingly.

She laughed and nodded with a confident and proud pose. Demilade just smiled, glad within him.

He removed the ring from the box, dropped the box on the table and took her hand gently, and wore the ring on the finger of her left hand. He stared at the ring on her finger and he grinned. He had been craving to see the ring on her since he bought it.

It was just as he imagined. It was lovely on her.

He peered up at her. Giddiness took over both of them as their faces mirrored a dumbstruck grin of excitement.

They both chuckled and they began to laugh.

"Why are we laughing?"

"I don't know," Lola answered in between laughter. Then they stopped and were staring at each other, still grinning at each other.

Then she smiled as the reflection from the gem on her ring caught her attention. She turned the ring toward her and she grinned at it.

It was so beautiful. A perfectly carved seven-carat diamond with five colors. She loves how the colors blend and how it was carved into a heart shape. She could tell it was really expensive. It was then she noticed the words branded on the silver band of the ring.

It made her chuckle and she looked up at Demilade who was watching her like he always does. She moved closer to him and wrapped a hand around his nape.

"I love it. It's so beautiful. Thank you." She said showing him the ring on her finger.

He smiled proudly. "I'm glad you like it." He spoke looking at her hand.

"Who's playing that song?" Lola questioned looking around wondering where the music was coming from. Someone was playing Justin Bieber's 'Life time'. It sounded distant at the same time like it was being played in the room where they were.

Demilade shrugged. "Does it matter? I think it suits the moment."

She scrutinized him with his eyes. Something told her that he had it planned. But how he did it is what she doesn't understand and he wouldn't tell her even if she ask. So she just nodded in agreement as she placed the hair falling on her face behind her ears.

"Yeah. You're right." She replied looking at him with an amazed face.

He pulled his arms around her, looking down at her beaming face. "Do you care for a dance with me?"

She chuckled and she nodded. "How romantic! You keep surprising me today Demmy." He shrugged innocently. She grinned, answering. "Of course. What a perfect moment!"
