"Nero....". Morrison strays his eyes to look at the child, while he held his cup a few inches away from his lips. The child only looks up at him with a deadpan face, awaiting a response.
"......"
Morrison shakes his head. "Heh, Even though you're just a kid, I still wanna know what business you got with one of my clients".

".....Father....".

Morrison looks wide eyed at the young boy. He then relaxed his face after realizing that maybe the boy is just a lost soul. "...Nero huh....I think you might be looking a little too deep into this...".

"Sparda......does that ring a bell for you"?

Morrison nodded. "Dante and Vergil...".

"......I need to speak to Nero.....".

Morrison gets up from his seat and takes the cup to a nearby counter in his kitchen.

"Are you human.."? He asks, not facing the child. "....or are you a manipulative demon disguised as one...".

".....I am who I am, and you are who you are. Even if I was a demon, how would that affect the way you see me.....? Nero is a demon. Just as Sparda is...".

"Is"?

The boy looked at Morrison with affirmative eyes. ".....He's alive....".

"He can't be...or what would be the point of hunting down his sons"? Morrison asks, unable to process even a notion of Sparda being alive.

"Because these "demons" are nothing but cannon fodder. They couldn't even reach, yet even imagine, a life like theirs, living in a part of Hell like that".

".....assuming you are, a Demon, did you ever see Sparda himself? Or just tossing rumors...".

The boy looked wide eyed at Morrison, shaking him to his core. "He was taller than any tall tower you could build. His chains reeked of blood, how tight they're wrapped around his body, and his cries could shake mountains, as it does in the depths of Hell. He is trapped down there, and those chains.....they cannot be broken by just anything".

Morrison's eyes trembled as he heard the story. He was thinking of ways he could tell Dante and Vergil.
"So you've seen him....".

The boy's face became plastered with sadness. "He looked at me and called me "Son". He smelled his blood flowing through me....".

"......And what does Nero, have to do with all of this"?

"Nero is the son of Vergil, who is Son of Sparda. Nero is not as radiant with Hellish energy as his Father... Nonetheless, he possesses far greater strength than someone else of his stature. I need to speak with him".

Morrison prepares himself another cup. "Nero's definitely not the one to be so easily swayed, kid. Whatever mischief you tryna get into, you better hope you got a good mote of persuasion".

"He doesn't need persuasion, he needs only a reason....take me to him....he'll listen to what I have to say. One way or the other".

"Hmph, you talk big for a 12 year old-looking sonuvabitch".

He obliges the kid's request, chuckling to himself as he drinks the last sip of coffee and proceeds to the door. The kid follows. They finally make it to Nero's place, standing in front of his apartment.
