(Hidimbaa took the form of beautiful human maiden)
After escaping the house of lack, Kunti and Pandavas crossed river Ganga with the help of a boatman sent by Vidura. Then they reached a dense forest. They were exhausted and thirsty. Bhima went in search for water. When he returned, his mother and brothers had fallen asleep under a tree. Bhima did not wake them up. He just sat down there, guarding his family.
The Rakshasa King Hidimba saw them in that condition. He asked his sister Hidimbaa to bring those humans to him so that he could enjoy human flesh. Hidimbaa went there, but at the very first sight, fell in love with handsome Bhima. She decided not to listen to her brother. Taking a beautiful human form, she asked Bhima to take her help and escape from that place. But Bhima denied. Hidimba saw this and rebuked his sister. Then, Bhima fought with him and killed him.
