Hii Guys ..,

Welcome back to my C H A N N E L.,

Today we are joining with the wordsmith program.A very talented author ChocoLily  is participating in this program .💕

We ask the author twenty questions and we will see what answers she gives to this...

Let's go...

*Can you give us an introduction about yourself first?

Hello, I'm an amateur writer whose pen name is Choco Lily. I write Asian Chinese-oriented themes~ usually with romance!

 1. How many books have you written and which is your favorite?

Let's see... I have written 5 complete books, not counting volumes. Every book is my favourite, but the current one is definitely the book I'm currently writing, 'Shadow In Your Mind'. It's about a zombie apocalypse with a group of masterminds behind the human rabies infection.

 2. What part of the book did you have the hardest time writing?

What part, huh? Perhaps starting, because it's the part where you had to grab the reader's attention, to get them to stay to continue reading.

 3. What part of the book was the most fun to write?

Hmm, hard to say, since none are easy to write. I'm already grateful that I seldom have writer's block that would delay my update schedule.

 4. Which of the characters do you relate to the most and why?

Xiao Hua from 'The Dragon's Flower' is the character that I most relate to (for now?) Because some of her habits are from me, etc.

 5. If you're planning a sequel, can you share a tiny bit about your plans for it?

I'm currently writing the fourth arc for 'Shadow In Your Mind', so there's definitely the 5th arc, because the big boss a.k.a the mastermind, had not appeared yet.

 6. What inspired the idea for your book?

Movies. And novels. The more I read, the more I'm unsatisfied with what I couldn't get from the author. So I would write it to satisfy myself. Even when many times the story would lead my nose away from what I planned to write.

7. How much research did you need to do for your book?

Totally depends on the book I'm writing. For 'Shadow In Your Mind', I would research apocalypse settings, such as how long electricity and water would last, etc. I also research about seasons, when they arrive, when they end, because my country only hasone season, ahaha.

 8. What was your hardest scene to write, and why?

When it comes to writing fighting scenes. And building a bridge between two scenarios. Because I have no experience in them, and my vocabulary sucks.

 9. What characters in your book are most similar to you or to people you know?

I usually put myself in my main character's shoes, so that I know how to direct the character into doing things in certain situations. So yes, Xiao Hua (The Dragon's Flower) and Wong Xue Guo (Shadow In Your Mind) have some certain traits similar to mine.

 10. How would you describe your book's ideal reader?

Hmm, one that leaves sweet, encouraging comments? :D I also do like readers that discuss about the chapter~

 11. How long did it take you to write this book?

Totally depends. For example, my book, 'The Dragon's Flower', takes more than two years. But for 'Second Flame of Romance' it only took a month. Both stories have vastly different number counts.

 12. How did you come up with the title for your book?

I usually pick the title from the characters or items from my book. For example, 'Shadow In Your Mind'. It's a combination of abilities of my two lead characters~ It's a spoiler, yes.

 13. Would you and your main character get along?

I have totally no idea. Maybe?

 14. If you could meet your characters, what would you say to them?

 Please don't hate me...?

 15. What do you need in your writing space to help you stay focused?

Silence. Peace. And maybe some snacks~

16. If you could spend a day with another popular author, whom would you choose?

 17. Have you ever traveled as research for your book?

No. I take writing as a hobby. The most research I've ever done for my book is through Google-sensei. But my random outings also help inspire my books once in a while.

 18. What's your favorite writing snack or drink?

My favorite drink is definitely chocolate~ Sweet things cheer me up! Snacks... it shall depend on my tongue at that time?

 19. If your book were made into a movie, which actors would play your characters?

That is difficult to choose, so... no comment. :D

 20. Have you ever killed off a character your readers loved?

So far, no. Not to my knowledge. I would also not dare to do that :D

 21. What do you have to say to your readers?

Thank you to everyone that enjoyed reading my stories. Your comments, votes and follows are a great support to me, encouraging me to write more. I hope everyone will enjoy my current and future works!

 22. Finally, what do you think about this program?

It's interesting and would be a great interview to learn more about authors.

Thank you so much for joining this program with us.💛💛💛💛

I'm saying goodbye today with the intention of having a nice hour with more people like this.😍😍
