If you were to ask the staff at Seattle Grace what they thought about Nurse DAISY JAMES, they would say that she was hardworking, an absolute godsend with patients, and that she definitely lived up to her flowery namesake.
If you were to ask Daisy James what she thought about HERSELF, she would say that she was clumsy with the medical supplies, spent too much time lamenting in the on call rooms over lost patients, and that she had a knack for finding herself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Now, if you were to ask ADDISON MONTGOMERY what she thought of Daisy James, well. . . she would've just said that it was nice to have someone hand her a tissue while she bawled her eyes out. That, and, it was nice to have a friend in a city that seemed to despise her.

--&&: say it with me everyone "addison montgomery deserved better!" yes, yes i know in private practice she ended up w/ jake and all, but still. im giving her the amazing slowburn, friends to lovers story she deserved. i don't condone her cheating on derek at all, but she was there trying to make up for it, and it wasn't fair that until her friendship with callie, she basically had no one there for her.
well: that changes with daisy!
this will definitely be a slowburn, as we're starting off in season 2 and addie is trying her hardest to get derek back so until part two or three of this fic, daddie—best ship name ever, will remain strictly platonic ( or will it ?)
