The young samurai has always wondered what the face of the person on the end of the red string that carefully wraps around his pinky.

Dreaming about the face of the person he was fated with for the rest of his life but he never tried to find you yet. He had to be stronger, he wanted to be a better person who you can rely on, and wouldn't it be fun if fate was the one who brought you two?

Writing poems about the day he will finally meet you, hoping you hoping you seek him too.

Unlike his friend tomo who turned a blind eye on his soulmate, declaring he have all the time in the world to find them.

Who would've expected that the day will come where he had to flee away from his mother home he loved. It had to be done, he didn't want his beloved friend to die in vain.

He winced feeling the fire burn the skin on his right hand yet he didn't let go.

He stopped on his tracks looking down the cliff where he was standing to see the vast of water bellow

He looked back when he heard the shoguns' army's steps, he has nowhere to go. He's helpless, he trained to wield his sword to perfection yet couldn't put it to use.

The sound of the soldier feet crunching the grass grow louder "Give us the vision under the vision hunt decree! " one shouted, all their spear pointed at him ready to charge.

Looking at his right hand looking for a sign of hope, maybe he still has the strength to hold a sword but nothing, he can't nor feel his bloodied hand

He could see the soldiers running closer and closer each minute. He had to make a choice it's either he jump or give himself up along with his best friend vission.

He has gone this far, he'd be damned if he gave up now.

And so he jumped. His whole body collided with the cold water, slowly sinking.

Adrenaline rushed throughout his body, pushing his body to sit up leaving the comfort of a... Bed?

"huh," he muttered quietly looking around the wooden room

"oh your finally awake!" he heard a voice enter the room, holding a tray of bandages. The white-haired boy arms immediately reached out on his side to take his sword, out only to realise his clothes changed.

"ah! Don't fret one of the men on board was the one who changed your clothes I only did the bandaging" you explained placing the tray on the table beside his bed.

A tint of blush appeared on his cheeks "I was going to ask where you placed my sword but I suppose that too" he muttered looking anywhere but your eyes.

You chuckled " it's over there tho I don't suggest you use it, your right hand is still healing," you said pointing the blade behind you placed on the corner of the room.

carefully held his burned hand taking the bloody bandage off, gently wrapping the new one while he carefully watched. He couldn't help but notice your pinky and the red string carefully tied around it.

"your my-" he looked at you in shock. A small smile appeared on your lips slowly humming, confirming the question he have yet to ask "I must say out of all the scenarios I have ever imagined meeting you this has never passed my mind" you said placing your hand on the bed.

"I suppose I could say the same" he laughed with you "the names Y/n, a traveller from liyue"

"I am kaedehara Kazuha, nice to finally meet you" he introduced back. You chuckled, Kazuha gave you a confused look "I'm sorry for laughing so suddenly but aren't you going to ask where you are and how we found you?" you wiped a tear off your eyes

"ah- I completely forgot about that part.."
