Late the kids were sitting in the lab while the dads had created a new invention and wanted to show them.

"Say hello to our latest invention-" Donald started

"The cryo-blaster" Alexander finished. "This thing can freeze anything in a nanosecond."

(Now this might confuse some people cause i kinda mentioned a freeze gun in the first book but that is just a normal freeze gun not really too important, just in case some people got confused)

"Bravo Big D Mr.A, you invented ice" Leo said. Y/n let out a laugh but tried to hide it with a cough. Though that didn't work. Chase nudged her tried to hide back a smile, she looked at him and they both looked away from each other to keep themselves from laughing.

"No we invented a way for astronauts to travel to distance galaxies while frozen in suspended animation" Donald said

"Which is a fancy way of saying 'Ice'" Leo said

"Alright here" Donald grabbed the cup Adam was using from him "Let us demonstrate" Donald put the cup down while Alexander had the cryo-blaster.

"Now you guys might want to step back because the ray from the cryo-blaster freezes everything it touches" Alexander shot it to the cup anmd it turned to a block of ice

"Can someone please tell these dudes they're making ice" Leo said

"Look every space program in the world is gonna want one of these. We just need the element to fuel them: Cytanium and its only found here. We're sending you on a misson to the most remote part of Antarctica"

"As opposed to bustling downtown Antarctica" Bree said

"No worries Mr.Davenport Mr.L/n we've been to way worst places than Antarctica" Chase said

"Oh yea remember Bakersfield?" Adam reminded them and they all groan.

"Look with your bionics and your powers you should be able to swoop in and-" Alexander was cut off by a beep

"Oh no" Donald said "There's a massive storm headed there"

"So who cares? We just delt with a storm"

"Chase is right we can just go really qick and get it then leave" Y/n agreed

"No this is a category five. It's much more dangerous. I can believe this we're gonna have to call off the misson"

"What- no there's plenty of time before the center of the storm hits"

"Its not worth the risk Chase" Alexander said. "Just hope the storm doesn't collapase the glacier"

"But if that happens you'll lose the cytanium forever"

"We know" They both walked out of the room

"But we can do this"

"Stand down, flash glue." Bree said "You heard the man. No one is going, not even hustle and muscle"

"Yea and muscle could use some help" They looked to see the block of ice with his cup in it stuck on his tounge. Bree ripped it off "Aah! That hurt. Great now i need some ice." He grabbed the ice and put it back on his tounge. They all walked out except y/n and Chase.

Y/n looked at Chase and knew what he was thinking. She put a hand on his shoulder and he turned to her. "Chase I know what you're thinking. You can't really-" Chase cut her off.

"I have too or they could lose it forever. There is still time-"

"Chase its risky"

"I still have to try" Y/n looked away she knew she wasn't going to be able to stop him. He was starting to walk away but y/n stopped him.
