Warning blood,

Kyle

During these long weeks of recovery I decided to enroll myself into a medical program to have the basics down at least. The gift of being a hacker I suppose I can do whatever I want, which sure sounds great but honestly it's hell sometimes.. "What are you thinking, something like that takes 8 weeks to heal at the earliest." "So what?" I switched tabs and started looking for him again. I'd been giving him too easy a chance to escape me and I need him found, he needs to pay for what he did.

"Kyle I will smash your computer along with your fucking legs." And that pushed me. I stood up and hit him in the face. "Bull fucking shit." He didn't do anything though just stood there. I hit him again and he fell back a little, "I- I could have died on those stairs and he's still out there living his life while we are all exposed here. I hit him again this time he slammed on the door. He used his hand to open the door as I kicked him back. "That's the best you got weakling?"

He backed up a little and now we're in the hallway. I hit his face and he fell back holding his face as blood poured down his face. "You can do better than that Kyle." I hit him as hard as I could in his stomach. He chuckled as he leaned against the wall and I fell to my knees in pain from my side. He tried catching his breath but I think I knocked the wind out of him a little. He laughed a little before continuing, "And you said you're completely healed. Yeah right."

That's when an Idea ran through my head. "Maybe it's time to move Kyle, Spain has treated us right, maybe it's time to go home." The thing is we're basically like a knock off mafia type thing. None of us really wanted to get that serious into the gang life so we settled. And right now we definitely didn't need mafia shit in our lives. We had too much with gang shit. We've traveled throughout Europe and that's why most of us are fluent in like 4 different languages.

I wanted to spit at the thought of going back to America or Germany. And I don't mean I hate the countries but too many memories that were too painful to remember where there. And he was right Spain had treated us perfectly with no interruptions till now. But America I thought for a minute before sitting down and doing my thing again on the computer. Dates ran through my head along with papers I had sat down with for hours and had memorized at this point. "What?" Ben gave me a confused look before looking over my shoulder.

"Dates uh. He left Australia when?" "July 9th 2008." He raised an eyebrow at me but I didn't notice much. I looked at the screen for matches but nothing matched correctly. "Somethings missing. Something big." "Well what if he didn't have a daughter we never could correctly identify his children. What if it wasn't a son." "But a little brother somehow." I quickly typed it in changing the information as we tried putting this all together. "Where's your girlfriend?" "I sent her into town to see her family while I get this all taken care of." "I thought her family lived in America." "They do but she's staying with a family for the exchange program here and she can't just disappear forever."

I stood up looking at the papers scattered on the desk and walls that had red string showing how everything was connected and the many sticky notes filled with ideas and information. "Fuck." I grabbed onto my hair pulling on it a little before rubbing my eyes and looking at the wall again. "He got away from us in late October. We tracked him for months and then he just disappeared from the earth, popping up randomly."

I ripped the sticky note off replacing it with the possible boy idea. "There." Ben pointed to the map and it didn't make sense. "He was born in America but his birth certificate is for Normandy." I looked at Ben and the text messages we found between him with his unknown child talking about taking him to his birthplace one day. "That's why we never found him, we thought he was born in America.

"I guess it's time for a quick work trip." "Yeah right after you heal up." Ben laughed as he walked out leaving me in the mess of my room and I couldn't believe I missed such a small but huge detail.
