its been a few weeks since we've officially moved in and today we're inviting some people over to see it

i'm really excited because i love our apartment and i want everyone to love it too

"what time is everyone coming?" i ask madison

"in a few hours"

"cool. so who's even coming"

"so some of my cousins, ellianna, and my family friend, Adeline"

"oh fun. you know i still haven't met Adeline yet"

"really? well you're going to love her. she's so nice and funny and interesting and-"

"okay enough I get it. is she single"

"yeah she is. oh guess what she's gay!"

"oh i thought you said she was straight last time"

"well she realized she wasn't"

"i don't know Aliah i didn't ask her all of that why are you asking"

"i don't know you just seem to know a lot about her."

"she's been my friend for my whole life of course i know a lot about her. are you jealous?"

"no... well maybe just a little it's just i don't know"

"well you don't have to worry at all. i don't like her in that way. she's just a good friend. i love YOU"

everyone's been over for a while and it's been fun

except for the fact that her friend Adeline keeps flirting with me

i was expecting her to flirt with madison but no it's the other way and it's really weird

it's especially weird because it's only when madison's not around

"hey can we talk" i whisper to madison as she stands around with some people

"of course"

we walk over to the kitchen and i sigh

"your friend keeps flirting with me."

"what do you mean"

"your friend adeline. every time you walk away or go somewhere she'll come to me and touch me and get all close and say things like i'm pretty and stuff like that"

"where has she been touching you" she asks me looking angrily

"my arm and... other places"

"aliah tell me where"

"i don't want you to be mad at me"

"babe if she's touching you i'm not going to be mad at you just tell me where"

"well she keeps walking by and grabbing my ass"

"don't say anything!"

"i have to she can't touch you like that that's not okay"

"it might just be an accident"

"it's definitely not and i'm going to talk to her, i don't want her in OUR place if she's going to be like that"

she walks away and goes right up to Adeline

i walk close and hear what she says

"why are you touching my girlfriend when i'm not around" she asks loudly putting her hands on her hips

everyone around us turns to look at them

"what are you talking about i've barely even been near her"

"oh really cause i saw you guys talking when i came back from the bathroom AND she told me you keep grabbing her ass. so stop it"

"you're acting crazy Mads so what if i do every now and then"

"excuse me! she's MY girlfriend you can't touch her like that or in any way at all."

"i can do whatever i want and touch whoever i want whenever i want"

"leave right now. you're not going to come into my apartment, touch my girlfriend grossly, and then say that."

"seriously you're kicking me out"

"yes now leave and don't come back and remember she's mine, she'll always be mine, and no matter what she'll never be yours"

"you're going to end our friendship over this? wow madison"

"you made Aliah uncomfortable AND now me uncomfortable as well i'm not okay having you here or anywhere at least around her"

"whatever you're literally crazy"

she rolls her eyes and walks out of our apartment

Madison sighs loudly and turns to face everyone
