The next morning was something I dreaded. I had only slept for maybe an hour and I looked like total garbage.

I narrowed my eyes towards myself as I noticed my puffy eyes was very much visible that even a blind man would be able to spot it. I sigh and comb my fingers through my hair in frustration and sat myself on the edge of the bed. I look down and began to fiddle with my hands.7

"I hate this." I whisper to myself as the memory of a couple of hours ago kept repeating in my mind.

The kiss.

The lies.

The tears.

The pain.

The goodbye.

I groan tiredly and hastily hopped off my bed and quickly grabbed my towel and clothes before exiting my bedroom.

I woke up an hour early before all of them so I could avoid them, but with my luck, of course I would open my door at the exact same time with the woman I was going to avoid. It wasn't permanent, it was only until I could move on. But I've been trying to move on for years so I'm pretty much out of my nonexistent luck.

I instinctively look towards the sound of another door opening and inwardly groaned in annoyance seeing Yeji walking out and locking her gaze with mine. I send her a quick silent nod before walking away, not forgetting the sight of a frown that was quickly made from her lips.

Every morning, despite the lack of sleep, I would always excitedly greet her with a hug or just a simple smile.

I felt her eyes burning at the back of my head as I made my way into the bathroom.

Things were changing.

.............

"Is everybody ready?" Jisu tiredly asks as she was waiting for all of us at the front door. Chaeryeong and I snicker knowingly towards Jisu's eye bags. I smirk.

"Looks like someone played games until late at night." I tease but quickly hiss and grab the side of my arm as she aggressively punched it. Chaeryeong laughs and drapes her arms over Jisu's shoulder before tapping her head as if the smaller one was a child.

"It's okay, children make mistakes all the time." Ryeong jokes. I click my tongue in fake disappointment.

"Shame Jisu-yah... you must be disappointed in yourself. Such a bad influence ." I laugh but hiss and whine as she punches my other arm.

Chaeryeong chuckles and shakes her head,

"That's what you get for teasing the angry sloth." She says. Jisu groans in annoyance.

"Yeji save me! I'm being made fun of by the two walking sticks!" She yells out cause Ryeong and I to laugh and stick our tongues out simultaneously.

I felt my heart beat double in rhythm as Yeji had stepped out. Just the sight of her was making my mind grow hazy. She looked absolutely beautiful with her bare face and brown locks flowing down her shoulders effortlessly. She rolls her eyes and laughs lightly, causing butterflies to fly in my stomach at the sight.

"That's what you get for playing games Lia." She teases. Jisu rolls her eyes and swats her hands dismissively at all of us before making her way to the van. Chaeryeong laughs and follows Jisu to the car. I went to follow but hearing Yeji speak up I quickly froze.

"M..morning Ryujin." She says nervously. I sigh, grateful that I was wearing shades to mask the pain in my eyes and slowly turned around with a tight smile.

'Morning liar'

"Morning Unnie." I saw sadness instantly seep through her cat eyes. I absolutely hated calling her Unnie, and she knew that too. But, because of our current situation I just couldn't bring myself to act the same around her.
