8:40 pm Lila : why?
I roll my eyes at her bluntness, no "hello".
8:41 pm me : to watch a film, I don't mind.
8:45 pm Lila : okay I'll be there in 20 minutes.
I smiled to myself, happy she agreed, I thought she wouldn't. Fuck when did I get like this? I'm never this needy, it's always the other way round.
I walk into my living room, making sure nothing dodgy is out as my friends were over today and we may have smoked a little weed, by a little I mean a lot. I was planning on texting Lila all day and I needed a bit of courage, the weed is wearing off slightly now though so I'm less out of it. Hopefully Lila doesn't notice my red eyes, I scoff, of course she will, she notices everything.
I grab some popcorn from my pantry and put it in the microwave, waiting for the machine to ping, once it does I put the salt from the packet on top, hopefully she likes salty popcorn and not sweet. Well I do so she'll have to get over it if she likes sweet more.
I put the bowl of popcorn on the coffee table in the living room and grab some fluffy blankets my mom bought me when I moved in, and threw them on the couch. I hear a knock on the door.
Shit that must be her
I rip the door open, a smile already on my face. My sudden move must have looked rather eager as she raises her eyebrows and giggles at me, i trail my eyes down her body, taking in her outfit, she is wearing a silk, pink, thin cami top, making her pierced nipples very visible. I rip my eyes away from her chest before my pants become noticeable and look down at her grey baggy joggers, smiling at how hot she looks.
"Hey" I breathe out, gesturing for her to come in. She breezes past me, I breathe in her scent as she goes past, the familiar smell making me more comfortable.
She slides in the door and slips her dirty Air Force 1s off, leaving her in pink fluffy socks, she's so enticing without even trying.
"Hey, sorry if my tops a little see through, I didn't realise till I left" she pouts up at me, staring at me through her lashes and giving me fuck me eyes.
How am I gonna last a whole movie with her next to me.
"Don't worry about it, i don't mind" i mumble, forcing my eyes not to look at her tits, she smiles at me and begins to turn around, "you wear much less in my dreams" I whisper.
I see her falter in her steps, fuck she heard me, I cough slightly and bring my hand up to rub it down my face.
I begin to walk after her, seeing her stood in the living room, looking awkward. I chuckle inwardly as I walk over to her, running my hand over the small of her back.
"You can sit down if you want Li" I tell her, smirking at her.
"You know, you've never given me a tour of your apartment" she informs me, turning round and making my hand drop from her back.
"You want one?" I drawl out at her, sliding my hands in my jogging bottom pockets, watching her gaze around my penthouse.
"Yes please" she smiles at me, making my heart stutter.
"Follow me" I begin to walk off, hearing her trail behind me.
I take her through the rooms, finishing at the second bathroom, I gaze my eyes around the bathroom, having not used it in about 2 months. I spot a bottle of woman's shampoo on the floor, fuck, must've been when Ana stayed round a few weeks ago. I side glance to Lila, looking for her reaction.
"What the fuck is that Enzo?" She spits, obviously hurt.
She thinks I've lied to her.
"I know it looks bad but this bathroom hasn't been used by me in like 2 or 3 months, please Lila. Believe me" I beg, she narrows her eyes at me, spinning round so she is fully facing me.
"You know it looks bad? The fuck it does Enzo?" She raises her voice at me, shaking her head.
"Lila look, Anastasia stayed here a few weeks back and she used this bathroom. I hate people using mine so she used the guest one." I tell her, telling the complete truth.
She shakes her head at me, I start to get annoyed at how she doesn't trust me. "Lila why don't you believe me?" I know she can hear the annoyance in my voice.
"Why would I Enzo, there is so much evidence that you are lying to me." She tells me, her voice breaking.
"I am NOT lying to you Lila, it's the truth, no one has been over and I haven't fucked anyone since I met you again. Please believe me." I beg, my voice cracking, I can't lose her again.
She shakes her head again, "look you need to sort it out" she breathes out, "I'm not being some sneaky side bitch!"
"We aren't even dating, why do you care so much?!" I spit out, not thinking. She rears back like I've hit her, tears pooling in her eyes.
Fuck fuck fuck.
"Yeah and maybe that's the problem" she whispers, walking out of the bathroom, leaving me stood here.
