it's been two months since halloween. it's currently new year's eve, and there's people bouncing throughout the house.
colby went to go get drinks a few minutes ago, and hadnt been back since. i decide to go look for him. i head into the kitchen, but there's no sight of him.
"colby?" i say, but my voice is drowned out by all the noise of people partying and the music blasting through the air.
an arm catches me as i try to walk into the game room. i tense and turn to see colby. my body relaxes and i let out a breath.
