steven exhaled sharply as he sat back down on the bench, looking at y/n and spinel with their oddly shocked expression, steven raised an eyebrow as his cheeks glowed pink "what?? they were being total jerks Y/n. I don't get why you are friends with them..." steven said as he shook his head and took another bite out of his donut, Y/n became a confusing mix emotion of upset, frustrated and angry at steven, she didnt blame him though, they WERE douchebags, even to her, she looked up at spinel eith a slightly worried look on her face now as she though, 'what if they hurt spinel? oh god it'd be all my fault, i wouldn't be able to protect her' spinel looked Y/n in their E/C eye's (yeah im not saying orbs 🙄) , almost reading their exact thoughts as she put a thumb on her left cheek and rubbing it softly, catching Y/n off guard for a moment as her face started to burn a deep red colour, look up too look into spinels magenta eyes, slowly giving into what spinel was doing, almost melting into spinels hand and her left eye closed. "Um.. So i hate to be the barer of bad news but... you both dropped your donuts" steven cleared his throat as he scratched the back of his neck
Y/n's Pov
i let out a sigh as spinels thumb finally moved away from my face, my heart beating fast, i just met this person why am i feeling like this??? ughhrrh get your head out of the gutter Y/n!
i shook my head and looked over to find spinel tapping my should "you alright doll?" spinel said as she tilted her head, her accent was so pretty it made my heart flutter more "u-um, yeah, sorry" my eyes shifted over to steven as i saw him stand up "you two should have a sleepover at my house!" he exclaimed, with a wide smile on his face, how could i say no to that face, "yeah, we should, what about you spinel?" i looked over at spinel with the equal amount of excitement as steven had, spinel sighed and ended up agreeing, despite not really knowing what a 'sleep over was'
