"This is my side!" Doc smiled as she took Y/n and Lucy over to the right side of the barn. "I've been watching some human shows and I didn't know they could be so awesome!"
Y/n chuckled, that was obviously Peridot's idea. "Do you guys sleep? Or are those beds for comfort?"
"We sleep!" Lucy cheered. "It's really relaxing, and the dreams can be quite fun!"
"Peridot and Lapis helped us put these beds together!" Doc told as she let go of Y/n's hand, and jumped onto the bed, simply sinking into it. "Come on! Try it out!"
Y/n sat down on the bed, unsure at first because the sight of it looked incredibly uncomfortable. "Oh, Jesus!" Y/n said in surprise as this was easily the most comfortable bed he had ever sat on. "I could just stay here forever!"
Y/n flopped onto his back, making sure to put Lucy onto the bed too.
"How did they make something so comfortable?" Y/n questioned as he turned to face Doc.
"Lapis gathered a lot of the blankets that were stored around here, and cleaned them with her really cool water powers!" Doc said.
"And then once they were dry, Peridot put them in the best positions to make them as comfortable as possible!" Lucy joined in.
"I wish I was here; I would've been happy to help!" Y/n smiled as he sat up. "Alright, I should probably get up, otherwise I'll just fall asleep."
"Oh! We'll show you my side next!" Lucy cheered as she pulled Y/n from the bed, and took him to the opposite side of the barn while Doc caught up with them.
"Before I forget, why do you guys sleep on opposite sides?" Y/n asked.
"Peridot came up with a genius idea of splitting the barn in two!" Doc proclaimed. "At first, I thought she meant literally, so me and Legg - ... Lucy here were ready to fuse!"
Lucy nodded. "Yeah! But she corrected herself, explaining that we'd have our own spaces!"
"I wonder where she got that idea from ..." Y/n said, briefly remembering that very same idea that he posed to her and Lapis. "Anyway, you seem to love flowers over here."
Y/n looked around the bed, it was pretty damn tidy, there was just an incredible amount of flowers surrounding it. "After Peridot and Lapis came to start a farm over here, I really enjoyed watching the seeds grow!" Lucy explained. "I asked Peridot if she could help me, and she did!"
Y/n awed. "I'm so glad that you've made friends with Lapis and Peridot!" He said. "I'm sorry that I haven't been up here as much, otherwise I would've helped you ..."
"Lapis explained to us that you were busy with something called ... 'the bunker'." Doc informed. "What is it?"
"Oh, it's just this safe place that everyone can stay in case gems start attacking," Y/n said casually. "It has enough space for all the humans in Beach City and up to 50 miles out as well as all of us!"
Lucy gasped. "Woah! That's so cool! You need to show it to us sometime!"
Y/n nodded. "Course, I want you two to be safe don't I?" He chuckled.
Doc thought for a moment. "Are ... The diamonds coming for us?" She asked.
Y/n didn't know what to say, he didn't know either. "Well ... It is pretty likely ... Or at least, they'll send someone," He admitted. "We've all stood against Homeworld in some way, so I expect they'll be back again."
Doc nodded. She wasn't scared, or worried. She was learning new things about herself, and her fellow gems! Doc was given more freedom in the time she was on Earth than all the time she was on Homeworld. "Let them come! We can work as a team!"
