"My friend used to do that to me" I snickered to her

"What happened to her?" she polled

"I don't know really. she kinda just vanished and I haven't seen her for a good 5 years" I told her and she frowned a little

"but it's okay! She's probably off with some guy having the time of her life" I grinned but felt a little jealous

one of the other enforcers runs over to us and takes a quick breath before speaking "we gotta situation."

time skip

"There must've been four, five of them. I don't know how they got inside." the guy in the distance says

Caitlyn takes a step back and slowly walks inside the airship I grab onto her arm "Where are you going?! if we get caught we're gonna get screamed at again." I whispered and shuddered at the memory

"I'm just going to check it out. are you coming or not" she whispered back and placed a camera in my hand

I followed after her

she made me take photos of the crime scene and tried picturing how the scene went out in her head. I noticed a certain drawing which looked like it could be from-

no, it can't be. she's long gone.

"I recognise the drawing..." I told the blue-haired girl and handed the camera back to her

"really? do you know who drew it?" she quizzed

"I'm not entirely sure but I remember I used to look after a little girl who drew stuff like this. She was a good kid you would've liked her." I smiled at the image of powder in my mind.

we jumped down the trap door and looked around the place. it smelt like gunpowder with a hint of smoke and it was too dark to see the other side of the room.

we saw there was a man stuck under a metal gate and moved it off of him. I recognised his face anywhere.

"You're from the undercity. you tried to hurt Violet." it felt like ages since I said her name

"y/n what are you talking about?" Cait stared at me confused

the man spoke up "I didn't do anything. She's crazy." he seemed to ignore my words and only focused on Caitlyn

she tried to calm him down

"She shot me." he blurted out

"Who shot you? Who were you working for?" I intervened in the conversation

"I can't. He'll kill me." the man groaned

"Who?" I asked

Caitlyn told the man "we can protect you."

"Caitlyn Kiramman, Y/n Y/l/n, why does that not surprise me? Both Interfering in an investigation, again. You're supposed to be guarding your mother's tent and shouldn't you be guarding the tent too y/n?". It was Marcus. I hated him more than anyone. he was the man who arrested Vander and made a deal with Silco.

"We was, Sheriff, but she doesn't need it. And clearly, this takes priority." Caitlyn spoke

"I realize you're used to getting your way, Kiramman, but we have a chain of command for a reason," he said coldly

"why don't you just leave us alone Marcus clearly we are doing a better job than you here. so why don't you take your boys with you and let us get on with the case" I spat at him

"talk like that to me again Y/l/n and it's goodbye to piltover." he raised his voice at me and as I went to open my mouth to speak again Caitlyn put her hand on my shoulder
