"okay one wow that hurt and two I wanted to see you one last time. You didn't think I was just going to let you leave me like that" she smiled at me

"How the hell did you get in here?" My voice was unsteady

"I have my ways. I'm kinda like the main character y'know." She tried to get a laugh out of the situation we were in which made me crack a small smile I hugged her again "at least you're okay."

Muffled Screams were coming from outside

"What's happening?" She grabbed ahold of my arm

we both walked towards the tinted green window

Grayson yelled "Hey. Stop right there!"

a gunshot was heard and blood covered the window

"What the devil... No." Benzo panicked

"Silco? You animal. Go crawl back into whatever hole you came out of." Benzo swung a broken pipe towards him

"Benzo, stay back..." Vander consulted calmly

"You never did know when to walk away." Benzo charged for the thin man

"Wait. No!" screamed Vander

another gunshot was heard. Benzo was dead

The man to be known as silco spoke up with a raspy voice "Hmm. Stubborn to the end." he snarled

Marcus looked at the lifeless bodies lying below him "What the hell have you done? This wasn't the deal!" he cried

"Deal's changed." Silco proclaimed bluntly

"No. No!" I scream and pull y/n closer to me and yelled into her chest I tried not to cry but the tears managed to escape my hold.

the door unlocks and Ekko walks in

"I saw everything. Be... Benzo. They..." He cried into y/n's shoulder and I decided to speak

"What about Vander?" I put my hands onto his shoulders

Ekko stammers a little but manages to get the words out "they took him."

Y/n asked him quietly "where?" He continues to sob harder

(Vander pov)

"It's a little crude, I'll admit. The base violence necessary for change. But we both know topside won't listen to anything else." Silco walked around me

I spit "Even with your monsters, you won't win a war against Piltover." I spoke with pure hate tread for the man

"I don't have to. I just need to scare them. They won't dare set foot in the underground again." Silco smirked

"You'll get people killed. For what? Pride? For respect. Opportunity." I said

"Everything they've denied us. You had my respect. The Lanes' respect, but that... that was never enough for you. We shared a vision, Vander. A dream of freedom. Not just for the Lanes, but the whole of the underground, united as one." Silco uttered

"The nation of Zaun. Do you even remember? I trusted you. And you betrayed me." He spat out

We both grunt

"What I did to you...I've never forgiven myself. You were my brother." I spoke with hurt in my voice.

"No, you still don't understand. Can you imagine what it's like? When your blood mixes with the filth and the river toxins eat through your nerves. Oh, I hated you for what you'd done. But as time passed, so did my hate. And I was left with an understanding. The only way to defeat a superior enemy is to stop at nothing. To become what they fear. I hated you, but you kept my respect. Until you made peace with them. Played lapdog after everything we suffered." The grumbled
