When Worlds Collide Part 1

          My heart is going a mile a minute. I take a moment to take in my surroundings. I feel the adrenaline running through my veins. Ethan is passed out next to me. The chains around my wrist are biting into my skin. I look to the center of the room to see a man repeatedly kicking my mother. Beating her until a puddle of blood is surrounding her on the floor. I move my sight and right behind her I see my father's glassy eyes and blood flowing down the stake protruding from his chest.  

          My vision starts to fade and I know the nightmare is about to get worse. All this is a terrible nightmare. No its much worse than that, it's a haunting memory. I'm now in one of the dungeons, my mom and Ethan are both in chains and my dad is just laying there. These monsters haven't taken the stake out of his chest and heart. The stake doesn't kill his kind it just paralyzes them, puts them in some sort of coma but they can hear and see everything.

          My mom is week  and she tells me I have to escape so I could save Ethan and myself that it's to late for her and dad. At that moment one of the guards comes in and asks me if my twin and I will join them. I spit in his face and tell him to go to hell. I don't even feel the pain when he slaps me I'm too numb. He grabs my mom and dad and tells me to say goodbye to them Forever. I stay strong in front of him and my parents I will make them proud even in their last moment of life but as soon as they are far enough I break down. Ethan reaches for my hand and holds on to it soon I'm filled with so much rage I see red and yell

 I shoot up in my bed sweating bullets and yelling. Ethan runs in asking me what's wrong

"I had the dream again"

        "Saph I think it's time we stop running and face this head on. We won't be able to live in Peace unless we defeat the vampires. werewolves and humans that are after us. I know I know I'm the one that likes peace but this is ridiculous. We can't isolate ourselves from the world we haven't even gone to school. Don't you want to graduate high school? Yes we are smart but we have the right to live a normal life."

          I look at him contemplating what he just said and finally answered "you're right it's time we stop running. Let's start with small things like school and I'm sure I can block both of us during school. And as for our enemies I have to train you in fight first since you never trained with our parents."

          I was always the one that trained with mom and dad unlike Ethan, who as you heard liked peace. So now he doesn't know how to fight and I'll have to teach him.

          "So why don't you enroll us in the local high school and we will start school" I smiled when I saw how excited he was.

I made the town up) since everyone would assume that Ethan and I would hide in a large city we decided to go with the opposite and since I have the ability to block all kinds of trackers it's safe as well.

I still don't know who will be the strongest from Ethan and I. One of us is supposed to receive unimaginable powers before our eighteenth birthday, which is three months away. I can't help but feel that our lives are about to change drastically.

          Ethan didn't waste time to enroll us at school. We spoke on Thursday and it is now Monday and we are on our way to our first day of school. We got into our Range Rover and drove the ten minute drive to Evergreen High home of the moose. Yes thats right the school mascot is a moose.

           Anyways when we arrive everyone turns and stares at the new car in the lot. It was kind of funny to see all these humans staring like it was something from outer space but after looking around and seeing all the less expensive looking cars in the lot I realized ours did look a bit out of place. Once we are parked and step out the whispers and murmurs get even louder. 

          I can see how the girls are ogling at Ethan and the boys are eye humping me and I can't blame them we are good looking especially because thats the way us immortals are since we must look appealing to our prey. Ethan is 6'3 and has lean muscles. He has the whole broad shoulders narrow waist going for him, his long toned legs are visible through his fitted jeans.

          His facial feature are sharp but have that boyish softness to him. His bright blue eyes and light brown almost blond hair add to his whole little boy innocence he has going for him. He looks so much like our dad while I took my mothers looks. Since both are taller than average I also came out a little stretched out at 5'9. I have bright green eyes and natural fire red hair. A lean figure with the curves in all the right places. 

          So its no surprise that everyone is staring with lust in their eyes but its still a bit annoying to see the boys almost drooling like some dog with rabies. Ethan noticing my discomfort from the attention wraps and arm around my shoulder and pushes me towards the school entrance. All the girls glare at me the whole way.

          Right when we are passing a group of what looked like the typical jocks and cheerleader crew I wrapped my arm around Ethan's waist and said "come on little brother lets go find the main office to get our schedules" I said this loud enough so the group of people could hear me say it. Now I knew the word would spread that we were siblings which is exactly what I wanted.

         I don't need the extra drama of silly little human girls thinking I'm taking "their man" even though they don't even know my brother. The office wasn't to hard to find and once we were settled in with our schedules and our locker info we went ahead and walked towards our class. Luckily, I had all of my classes with Ethan and our lockers were right next to each other. Ok so its not luck Ethan being the genius he hacked into the school main frame and made it that way. 

         If I was being honest with myself I was pretty excited to be starting school though I knew this was just a temporary happiness. Now that we stopped running it was only a matter of time before something came up that made us have to face our demons.
