Due to rules that Lumi and Foscor established before they passed away, it is forbidden for gods to interact with children of the Light that don't know a lot about this world yet. The only exceptions are when someone is ready to ascend (such as what happened with Eli) or Samira's task, which is to take care of the children if they find their selves in danger.
However, staying in the god's world is not an option for Eli and Iris at this point. They must make their way into Flockya to purify that which has been corrupted and clean the mess Mara has left behind. However, to make sure they don't get identified, Iris creates new suits that they must wear all the time so no one can figure out who they are.
Eli's outfit definitely makes him look different, but he feels like it still gives a similar feeling to what he used to wear. Iris also messes with his hair a little, making it look pretty similar to how it used to before he became a god.

On the other hand, Iris knows no one has ever seen her before. There's really no need for her to change her look, but she still joins the fun and changes her look a little. She also wears the same mask Eli is wearing, making them look like, quoting Eli's words, brothers. She is a bit shocked at this statement, but she decides not to break and not fall for what still could be a trick to her eyes.
