there wasn't a clear explanation, but jisoo and taehyung found themselves having a stroll in the park with their dog babies one evening.

a mellow breeze, mauve sky dotted with translucent clouds and shrubs and trees all around: the ambience was euphoric. the dogs felt as at ease as the owners, curiously sniffing the path and also proceeding to annoy a harmless snail near the moss residing on the concrete ground. perhaps it was true the little animals could sense human emotions.

it was a coincidence- both adults coming out to get some fresh air, but the moment they caught a glimpse of each other, it became a group walk. they bonded well, clicking in their personalities and also belonging to the same age. both dressed in casuals—jisoo donned a taupe t-shirt dress accessorised with a black leather belt around her waist, paired with flats. mean the man sported a blue t-shirt along with khaki wide-legged pants.

yeontan suddenly started yapping, eagerly looking at his owner for a lift. taehyung's heart melted as he picked up and snuggled the animal.

"you both look so handsome!", jisoo exclaimed, surprising the man in front. taehyung's eyes widened at how smooth she complimented his looks. he glanced at her to be faced with a small, innocent, yet all-knowing grin on jisoo's lips.

their little moment was interrupted by the shriek of the other dog. he had previously witnessed yeontan getting showered with love, and now wished the same treatment.

"aw, is someone jealous?", jisoo said as she picked dalgom and showered his face with kisses. taehyung found himself staring in awe and wondering how lucky dalgom was.

doggy privileges, i guess.

"what's that over there?", jisoo was now squinting and pointing to a dome shaped silver building across the street.

"the art club, for recreation."

"great, i've always wanted to try painting!"

"i go there on the weekends, wanna join?", he asked, hopeful for a reply in the affirmative. "of course! it'll be a pleasure, taehyung-ssi.", jisoo replied joyfully. she was more than happy.

"no, it's alright. call me taehyung.", they were on informal terms now, right?

"okay, see you soon taehyung.", jisoo waved and was about to leave with her pet beside. the lad put his waving hand down. his smile dropped when taehyung realised:

what was her name again?  but the moment he turned to ask her,

she was gone.
