Chapter One: I'm Gonna Be A Hero?

Start from the beginning

"Suhan. My name is Suhan. What's yours?" His blushed deepens.

"Izuku."

"Well, Izuku... wanna get out of here?"

"Yeah! Yes! Yes! I mean yeah!" I held my hand out to help him up.

"Let's go." We spent the entire day together. He was the first friend I had ever had. I was normally home-schooled by trainers and didn't have very many social interactions. And the ones I did have with other kids weren't exactly pleasant. There were a lot of Kacchans in the world. We went to the mall and I used some of the money I had for food for dinner.

"Ok personal inquiry you don't have a quirk do you?" Izuku turned bright red.

"Ahahaha what... what would make you say that?" He said with a nervous grin.

"Well because you were on the ground and nothing was happening. You don't carry yourself like someone with a quirk. Also, you know more about superheroes and their quirks than I do and that's unheard of. So you have a lot of free time on your hands." He laughed again.

"You're right I don't have a quirk. I'm quirkless, so I'll understand if you don't want to hang out anymore."

"Are you kidding? This is the best day I've had in seven years."

"Really?"

"Yes... of course!"

"So you don't think it's stupid that I wanna be a hero anyway?" He said hiding his face in his hands as if he was embarrassed by the question.

"You're pretty amazing. I think it's very likely that you will be a hero one day." He smiles very widely.

"What's your quirk?"

"Well, it's slightly complicated. Um, I just label it as an elemental quirk. I can turn oxygen into fire and carbon dioxide into water." I say showing him with my hands. I saw him shiver slightly so I held my hand out. "I can also heat up or cool down any living thing. It comes in handy when I'm cold or when someone else is too hot. It's something I learned after—" he stared at me. I cleared my throat and moved on.

"I can also..." I say, presenting a seed... I carry them everywhere no matter where I am or what I'm doing. "Can turn a small seed like this. Into any plant I want or I can create replica vessels of myself or someone I remember to the exact detail of from the seed or any earthy substance really. These replicas can carry a very small amount of power for a short while. They can also speak if I remember the voices perfectly. But it's extremely rare. I've only been able to replicate my own voice. Unfortunately, it's also extremely tiring. It takes all of my energy and I can only do it for a short while. The longest I've been able to hold it is 6 minutes. If I try any longer I will pass out. So I don't use my earth quirk often."

"So is that why your eyes and are different colors?" My appearance has always been extremely strange. One of my eyes is reddish-orange like the color of fire and the other is blue like the color of the sea with a speck of green. I had red, blue, and green meshed in with my wavy pitch-black hair. I have dark brown skin that's extremely heat resistant, with dark freckles across my nose and cheeks coupled with a burn on my back from the fire.

"Well, I would assume so. I think the colors represent the elements." All of a sudden he burst with admiration. I mean this boy literally started to mutter and fret about my quirk and its properties. I just watched in fascination. It's extremely interesting to see this boy get so lost in his own thoughts. It's almost like the entire world doesn't exist it's just him and his own mind. It's kinda cute. Suddenly he looked up at me and stopped.

"Oh sorry." I didn't understand why he would apologize for internalizing information.

"Why are you apologizing?"

"Oh well, most people I know hate it when I do that."

"Well never stop. I like it, I think it's cute. You're very intelligent you know that?"

"What? Me?! No, I'm just a normal guy who knows a lot of facts about heroes and quicks. Speaking of... have you ever considered becoming a hero?"

"Me? A hero? No I mean I can't save anyone."

"That isn't true you just saved me today. Even when you had no idea if your quirk was stronger than theirs and you still came to rescue me. If that isn't heroic I don't know what is.

"I just did what any person should." He shook his head at me.

"No, you did what a hero would. Can I ask you something?" He said looking intently at me.

"Yeah sure."

"Can I sketch you? For my hero journal?" This shocked me. He wanted to add me? To his hero journal?

"But I'm not a hero." He just smiled widely at me.

"You were mine today!" I stared at him with my brows furrowed in deep thought. I was someone's hero? "AHH!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST SAID THAT ALLOWED!!"

"No no no no! It's ok! Thank you so much!! I would be honored to be added." After he had sketched me. I walked him to the station and we never exchanged numbers or addresses because, to be honest, I forgot to. That day changed everything for me. Izuku made me realize that maybe I could be a hero. I had been beating myself up for years for not being able to save my sister. And I tried and trained and crammed information in my brain to block it out. When all this time I should have been using it to drive myself to be better. So from now on, I swear to be the hero that my sister didn't have or die trying. My sister's death will not be in vain.

Yeah, I didn't see Izuku or Kacchan again until I was 15 years old. Don't know what god in heaven said these three kids' destinies must be intertwined because I need some damn entertainment and by golly, I'll get it from them. But that bitch brought us all back together again... and not a minute too early. (She says very sarcasticly).

"HEY!" A loud familiar voice yelled at me.

"YOU'RE THAT WATER BITCH AREN'T YOU?" I looked up and sure enough, the blond boy from three years ago was standing above me with rage in his bright red eyes.

"Shit..."
