"A lot happened you don't know about," he said.

"You're probably right. But you know what I do know?" Tears lined her as she waited. He knew what was going threw her head. "I know that you weren't there. You just left. You didn't wait, you didn't leave a letter. I was alone. I had my dad and the club, but they weren't who I wanted. I wanted you there, Rampage. But you left."

"I left--"

"To keep me safe? How many times did I tell you I felt safest with you, in your arms? You broke a promise to me, Ram. You broke my heart. I didn't see you for a year. Then you show up out of the blue for a week and leave. You didn't even acknowledge me. Do you realize how much that hurt?"

"I know I fucked up, Reb, but I thought it was for the best. I just wanted to keep you safe. Seeing you in that hospital--" he choked on the words. He didn't want to think about it. What happened all those years ago was still fresh in his mind.

"What are you doing now then? Nothing has changed. You can't say you left to keep me safe and then come back into my life after years expecting to pick back up where we left off."

"I know I have a lot to fix, Rebel. I know you still have feelings for me. I just want a chance to fix things. I want us back."

She closed her eyes, a single tear rolled down her cheek. "Ram... I can't--"

He placed his forehead on hers, gripped her cheek and wiped the tear away. "Don't give me an answer yet. Think on it. We'll hang out like we used to, go to the lake. Let me win you back. No more fighting or threatening."

He held his breath. She was silent for so long, then she nodded.

"We're just friends." She said.

He nodded. "Do you still have my number?"

She shook her head. "I got rid of everything... it hurt too much..."

Rebel gave him her phone and he added his number, making sure to put it in under the emergency contacts. He wanted to be the first person called if something were to happen to her.

"I gotta go. I'm meeting up with my old roomie." Rebel stepped away from from and opened the door. "Don't fuck this up, Ram. I swear..."

"I won't, Reb," he said and she walked out of the room. "I won't."

Rampage took a minute to soak in what just happened. He can't believe she gave him a chance, but damn was he over fucking joyed. There was no way he was going to fuck up this time.

Just friends, he reminded himself. He had to earn her trust and love back. The amount of time it would take to do that would kill him, but for her, he'd wait years if it meant he could call her his again. This time, though, he was going to make sure her dad knew what was going on and that Ram was going to fight to be with her.

Finally, he left the bathroom and walked over to the bar. Rebel was long gone and he needed a shot. He just necked the shot when the guys came in. They came over to the bar and sat down.

"You're coming out with us," Digger said.

Ram laughed. "Why would I do that?"

"Because, Fawn has new girls at Peep Show. Though some of us can't touch, we've been given permission to watch and our dicks have been threatened. So c'mon, let's go check it out," Snake said.

At first, Rampage didn't want to. He didn't want to screw things up with Rebel. Just friends, floated through his mind. Right, just friends, no commitment. It's not like he was going to fuck any of them anyway.

He agreed to go and they made their way over to Peep Show. Fawn kissed her man when he showed up and she had a bottle of Jack and a bucked of beer brought over to their table. She sure did know how to take care of her man.

They sat and watched the woman and talked shit to eat other. The bottle of whiskey was gone within an hour and Digger got a bottle of vodka from the bar, promising to repay his woman back. If they were being honest, they weren't even watching the women, just having a good time and getting drunk off their asses.

It was almost midnight when Rampage figured he should slow the fuck down. He stopped with the shots and popped the top on a beer, taking his time drinking it. Around one, Mix came over.

Mix was a very attractive woman, one he'd taken to his bed before. Sure, then he would have wanted her back in it, but now with Rebel coming back into his life, he didn't know.

"Hey, Rampage," she said, sitting next to him.

"Ain't you supposed to be in the booth?" He asked, his words only a little slurred.

"She shrugged. I made a playlist." She leaned in close and whispered, "You wanna get out of here?"

Her hand went for his dick and it came to life. His body and alcohol muddled mind was saying yes. But Rebel popped into his mind and made him wanna say no.

You're just friends, he thought. There's no harm in a little fun right? You're not dating and she's not your Old Lady.

"C'mon, Ram. I'm really horny and I can feel how hard you are."

In the end, his body won. He gripped her neck and pulled her to him, kissing her lips like a mad man. She pulled away and grabbed his hand, leading him toward one of the VIP rooms. She pushed him onto the large seat, which wasn't hard to do, and straddled him. His hand gripped her tits and messaged them. She moaned and he bit her lip.

Rampage wasn't a gentle man when it came to fucking, but he wasn't into the sex slave shit. Mix didn't like it soft or gentle either and he didn't have to hold back with her. He pulled her hair and she rubbed against him, her mini skirt riding up to show she wasn't wearing panties. He pressed his thumb to her clit and worked her. She began moving her hips frantically. She was about to come when his phone went off.

He immediately stopped what he was going. He knew that ringtone. He had set it up for when Rebel called. His mind cleared instantly, sobering up. What the fuck was he doing?

Shit. Oh, fuck his life! He was a goddamned idiot.

"Off," he said and pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Hello?"

"Hi, is this Rampage?" It was a woman's voice, not Rebel's. She sounded nervous and scared, making him go on full alert.

"Yea, who's this?"

"I'm Gena, Rebel's old roommate."

"What's going on? Where's Rebel?" He asked, trying not to panic.

"I don't know," she cried. "I saw her being carried upstairs. She looked really bad, she was almost pasted out, but she was perfectly fine five minutes before."

His heart stopped. "Where are you?"
