(Y/N) stared out the window of a bullhead while his faint reflection stared back at him, the scenery of Vale rolling below him and the hopefuls going to Beacon academy; he thought back to how he found himself with these upstarts who more than likely had a piece of silver in their mouths since day one, how the fight between him and Glynda had almost been his only for her to use her semblance on his head after a cloud of dust had been made.

Feeling his frustration grow he let out a breath accompanied by small sparks that slipped between his near clenched teeth finding the action had brought some form of serenity to it only for it to be short lived as he heard a familiar voice "(Y/N), professor Ozpin offered you a place at Beacon too huh?" turning his head slightly he saw Ruby accompanied by a slightly older girl with long golden hair "It was either school or prison, only difference between the two is I can freely leave if I want to." "So this is what you meant by a distant dragon." the blonde said with a smile and offering a hand to shake to him "Name's Yang Xiao Long, Ruby told me and our dad about you." he didn't take her hand but had turned his head to the pair "All I did was get pissed about being shot. Ruby here is the good Samaritan, my actions held little merrit." Ruby gave a small yet sheepish smile "I think you scared him off more than I fought." seeing no point in deciding who was more humble he turned back to the window.

Ruby suddenly had a look of realization before reaching into a small pouch on her belt "Here." she said while pulling out a plastic bag with the cookie he had taken a nibble out of the night prior "I thought that if you were in a better mood you might like it." he eyed the cookie before sighing, his wings, as per usual were wrapped around him, shifted apart for his hand to take the bag "You didn't have to Ruby, but it's appreciated." to prove his point he bit into more of the cookie all the while Ruby had a big smile. He still didn't find the appeal of cookies as he found them too sweet but understood why others enjoyed them, his train of thought was broken by the two girls, who had decided to stay by him for the rest of the trip, as Yang began to hop around flinging her other foot around shouting "GET IT OFF!" and Ruby responding with "EW!" in rapid succession until he finally snarled, grabbed her ankle and used a handkerchief to wipe what appeared to be bile off her shoe "There, now be quiet." he walked to where the boy who was puking was and threw the piece of cloth away before returning to his spot while his wings shifted closer to him.

The sisters looked at (Y/N) for a moment "I thought you said he was mean he's more irritated than anything." "He did say he was tired last night and he was shot sooo." they felt the bullhead land "Finally." they heard (Y/N) say before he marched out of the bullhead "Hey, wait up!" Yang called out causing him to turn "What?" "I just thought you might want to hangout at some point after initiation." he stayed quiet before turning away "We'll see." was all he said as he continued to his destination. The halls of Beacon were cold and somehow comforting to (Y/N) as he walked down a hallway to get to Ozpin's office, that was until he saw Glynda Goodwitch; as soon as she saw him she tensed while he locked eyes on her and kept his pace 'What is this feeling?' she thought to herself as a feeling of anxiety filled her. She had felt it when they first locked eyes and had even asked Ms. Rose if she felt it feeling relieved when it wasn't just her when the young Huntress in training said she felt the same from his eyes, a need to tell him anything he might want.

He stood in front of her now his eyes locked with her's as she had frozen in place as soon as he looked in her eyes, she had to look up slightly to see his face "Ms. Goodwitch," he said as a rumble rolled in his throat "how are you recovering from last night?" "I'm fine, thank you for your concern." "I might as well check up on the one person who managed what you did." "You talk as if my winning is a surprise, I am a Huntress." he snarled as his wings unfurled slightly "I have fought your Huntsmen and Huntresses, soldiers from Atlas, and bandits that would see your pretty face bruised and worse. I was young and tender then," he grabbed her cheeks bringing her face closer "now, I am strong but I know my limits. Those that I have fought are no more, each thinking as you do. What could a child do to trained Huntsmen, Huntresses, soldiers, bandits." she saw it then, it was hard to discern in the light, but his eyes were aglow eerily that filled her eyes and soul with his power.
