Twenty-Seven

Athena and I walked back inside as Tommy was sitting on the couch talking to his aunt. I sat down beside him as he looked at me before touching my hand a bit.

"I'll be back with more drinks," His aunt said getting up walking away

"Are you okay?" He asked looking at me tilting his head

"Yeah sorry about earlier" I smiled a bit

"No, I'm sorry... Can we go upstairs I have something to tell you" He uttered quietly

"Of course," I said getting up

He grabbed my hand and headed upstairs to an empty room, he closed the door and grabbed me by my hips bringing me closer softly. I could see that he was drunk, he smelled like beer and Jack Daniels. I closed my eyes for a moment while he led me closer. I shook my head a bit knowing that he was going to tell me something that was not gonna be pleasant.

"Y/n -"

"No Tommy shhh I want to enjoy..." I said cutting him off resting my head on his chest closing my eyes

"You know what I'm gonna say aren't you?" He whispered holding me close slowly dancing with me to the soft Christmas song that was playing downstairs.

"Mhh Mhh" I hummed in response

"Okay" He whispered 

I squeezed my fist to restrain myself from crying loudly. I sniffled a bit still hugging the only person I've ever cared about. I shut my eyes tighter knowing that this person was gonna slip through my fingers soon enough

"It was fun while it lasted...right?" He asked whispering

"It was fun while it lasted, but nothing lasts forever," I said sniffling a bit whispering as well

"I'm sorry," He whispered once again as his voice became shaky

"I know T-Bones... I know" I whispered again

"I hope you won't hate me for it," He said still dancing slowly

"I could never hate you, Tommy," I said following the rhythm of his feet

He pulled away as I looked into his eyes full of water. I cupped his cheek as a tear fell off my eye

"Maybe in another life?" I asked whispering

"A hundred percent sure" He nodded sniffling as well

Everybody shouted Happy near year downstairs, Tommy chuckled sniffling, and smiled.

"Happy new year," He said tucking a piece of hair behind my hear

"Happy new year T-Bones," I said smiling hugging him tightly

-Time skip to the next day-

I didn't sleep all night I was mostly looking at the ceiling as Tommy was sleeping beside me. I finally got up and grabbed the phone downstairs and called Nikki.

"Hello"

"Hey Sixx, can you pick me up please?" I asked over the phone as my voice became shaky again

"Yeah sure, did something happen are you alright?" He asked as I heard some keys chain over the phone

"No, I just want to see you I miss you"

"Alright then are you at his aunt's?" He asked worried

"Yeah" I answered biting my nails

"Alright be there in 20 mins, see you" He hung up

I walked over to Tommy's room and woke him up. 

"I'm going back home T-Bones," I said smiling a bit sitting beside him

"Already?" He asked with a deep morning voice

"Yes, Nikki's picking me up" I answered patting his back

"Call me later okay?" He mumbled half-asleep

"I will, Nighty T-Bones," I said kissing his hair

I stood up and walked downstairs. I left a note on the table saying thank you for inviting me blablabla. I heard a honk outside as I put my boots on and headed outside.

"Rough night lover girl?" Nikki asked chuckling

"Shut it" I chuckled softly getting in the car

He cupped one of my cheeks with one of his hands and smiled.

"I missed you," He said smiling

"I missed you too now start the car let's go home" I said in a hurry to leave

"You seems a little off sweetheart..." He said starting the car

"Yeah, I guess I am..." I said resting my head on the window

"Mind telling me what's on you're mind?" He asks as he started driving

"Not right now... I just need to relax" I uttered quietly looking at the trees outside

"Alright love," He said turning up the radio as Merry Go round started to play on the radio

I sang softly closing my Nikki patted my back humming as well.

"We're home" he smiled parking the car

I opened the door and stepped outside as I took a deep breath.

"Home sweet home," I said smiling 

"Home sweet home," He said hugging me from behind

I smiled a bit resting my head on his chest

"I was gonna go make myself a syringe... You want some?" He whispered in my ear

"Mhhh Mhh" I hummed in response

"Alright," He said letting go of me as he walked towards his door

"You're coming?" He asked opening the door

"Yeah just give me a minute I'll be right in," I said enjoying the hot sun on my face

I heard the door closing as I took a deep sharp breath. I walked inside and took off my boots. I went into his room but he wasn't there.

"Nikki where are you?" I shouted a bit

"Closet" He answered opening the door weakly as I looked at his arm seeing that he was bleeding more than usually

I walked to the closet and closed the door behind me sitting next to him

"What happened?" I asked looking at his arm

"It's fine," He said relaxing

"Alright," I said resting my head on his shoulder

"You want one?" He asked smiling softly

"Who wouldn't?" I asked chuckling

"But y- you do it" He stuttered a bit

"Alright Sixx," I said kissing his cheek
