But, they were his parents. Maybe it wasn't important, he assumed it was just adult stuff that he shouldn't know about. Nate had come by earlier that day to leave his sister with Sapnap's parents, apparently Nate and his parents had "important business" to take care of and needed someone to keep an eye on his sister. Cynthia had even stopped by to have lunch with them.

The ravenette was so tired at the moment, he had been woken up so many times that morning. He was so exhausted, he just wanted to sleep. Though Sapnap decided not to, he figured he should "explore" the rooms in the fortress that he hasn't yet been in. Sap almost tripped over himself, swinging his arms out to balance himself, surprisingly it worked.

He made it to a rather big door, almost taking up the whole wall it was built into. He looked around the door, trying to find a doorknob or something that could open it up. Of course, he had no luck. He just leaned his back against the door, letting out a sigh as he stared up at the ceiling. All of a sudden, he heard a few clicks and felt the door begin to open.

He quickly stood up, backing away from the door. His eyes widened as the door was now completely opened, revealing a hidden room. Sapnap noticed that the door was beginning to close back in, so he quickly jumped over the bricks, now standing in the room. After the door was completely sealed, he turned around and reached up, seeing a dangling chain. He pulled on it, turning on a light that lightened up the whole room.

Sapnap saw two small bookshelves on either side of the room, a bigger bookshelf against the wall that was opposite the door. There was a desk in front of the bigger bookshelf, a quill inside of a little container that contained some black ink, and a book in the center of the desk. There were glasses beside the book, the glass quite foggy, signifying that someone had recently worn them. There were three other books stacked onto each other in the corner, based on the title of them they were probably based on the Over World, Nether and the End.

There was a vase with roses inside, some of the petals were scattered around the desk. A small clock behind the book in the center, reading 6:35 pm. Sapnap tilted his head in curiosity as he stared at the book, it seemed to be a journal of some sort. It was wide open as well. The ravenette grabbed the book, flipping onto the beginning of the book. He sat down on the wooden chair, not wanting to be standing the whole entire time.

"'Experiment number 21, S.A.' who's S.A.?" Sapnap said, staring at the initials in the book. He looked down at the bottom left corner of the cover, seeing his father's name, Jackson Armstrong. Sap looked at the first page of the journal, beginning to read out loud what was written down.

"This is experiment number 21. He's been... having side effects recently. From my other experiments, I've been trying to find a way to give someone abilities that only someone who was naturally born in the Nether could have. Both parents would have to be born in the Nether in order for their child or children to have abilities as well. Someone's powers are based on where exactly they were born in the Nether, not based on which abilities their parents have. Not only have I been trying to give someone powers, I want to find a way to get rid of those powers... a little antidote per say. If someone didn't want them, they just took this antidote and they could be free from the dangers that those powers had brought to them. It could also be used if someone was using their abilities in bad terms, instead of good. Doing harm to people. The Nether already has a bad reputation because of our ancestors. I'm here trying to change those naive human beings' minds.

My current experiment...well, if anyone somehow found this book would be shocked, thinking I'm some insane maniac for doing this. My little 'guinea pig' is my son. He was born a month ago. The younger the better. That way I could see what changes I would have to do for these injections and antidotes. My son's name is Sapnap Armstrong, well in this book.. S.A. Somehow, he wasn't born with powers. Well, the reason was because my wife's, Abigail, father wasn't naturally born in the Nether, he was born in the Over World, but my wife was lucky to gain abilities when she was in her teenage years. I've tried my little project on S.A around 5 weeks ago, and recently he's been showing signs. His body temperature has been getting abnormally high, but it wasn't a fever of any sort. It was a clear side effect, showing that my project is working. He has also ended up burning his little crib while sleeping. Though it might be out of hand, I will find a way to get him to control it. Even though he can't comprehend anything just yet, I know that he'll be a smart little boy. I just hope that this will work, I wouldn't want anything to go wrong. He's my son after all, I don't want to lose him because of something that I have injected into him..just so I could fulfill my long time goal."

Sapnap's heart dropped. His breathing is heavy now. He was in a state of shock and disbelief. He couldn't believe that his own father had done this to him. When he was a baby?! That was just worse. And his mother didn't do anything to stop him either! They were the reason why Sap had those arguments with Bad and Skeppy. They were the reason why Sapnap ran away. They were the reason why Sapnap's life was a mess. The ravenette let out a shaky sigh, turning to the second page...taking a deep breath before he even dared to read what else his parents had done to him.
