Tonight is date night when with my boyfriend and I'm hoping that things that will go according to plan. I hate seeing how tense things are between us when we used to be like twins.
He was my twin flame and soulmate but his engagement to another woman changed everything for me.
"Are you ready to let things go and move forward?" Pete asks me as he holds my hand and I smile up at him.
"Yeah." I give his hand a squeeze. "Regardless of what happened in the past, you do make me really happy and I still have deep feelings for you."
"But you don't love me." He chews on the inside of his cheek while staring intently at me.
"I do but I'm not ready to say it yet." I tell him honestly. "Whether you know it or not, what you did hurt me really bad."

"I'm sorry." He sighs while kissing my head. "If I knew how much it would have affected you, I would have never proposed to Ariana."
"Let's just forget about it." I fake a smile. "It's date night."
"A night where Pete covers all the expenses." He says in fake enthusiasm and I let out a small laugh.
"Of course." I flip my hair. "Now let's get some drinks and rock out to some live music."
