"It's on fire, the whole things on fire!" Poe yelled out to the resistance crew sprayed down the falcon as he and finn both stepped out. Poe was upset with sage to say the least, he felt as though she should have been out there with them. So when he saw her, he had mixed emotions. He was happy to see her but mad she left them in the first place
"Hey!" Sage called out running up to Poe. She wanted nothing more than to pull the man into a tight embrace but she decided against it, she told herself in order to save him and her sanity she wouldn't get to close, she was already in to deep as it is.
"Hey" He sighed. She had been getting more and more distant. He knew why, but he hated it
"There's a spy?"
"I hope you're here to apologize, we really could have used your help out there"
"How'd it go?" Sage asked ignoring his little outburst
"Really bad actually... really bad" he put his hands on his hips with as much sass and attitude you'd expect from him
Sage looked up at the falcon in horror"Hans ship" sage said pointing at the ship that was currently on fire
"What'd you do to my droid?" Poe argued back looking at bb-8 who was missing part of his exterior panel
"What'd you do to the falcon?"
"The falcons in a lot better shape than he is"
"BB-8's not on fire!" Sage began to argue
"What's left of him isn't on fire"
"Poe tell me what happened"
"You know what you tell me first" Poe crossed his arms like a child
"You know what you are?"
"Please, enlighten me princess"
"You're difficult, really difficult, your a difficult man"
"You know what, you...you are, ugh" Poe bit his tongue and knelt down beside his droid trying to calm down and ignore the girl
"Sage!" Finn yelled out walking up to the pair
"Finn!" Sage ran up to the man and hugged him "so, bad mood?"
"Me?" Finn questioned with a confused look on his face
"No him" sage pointed to Poe who was trying to fix BB-8
"Always" Finn said in a 'of course' kind of tone
"God damn it poe this is what happens when you lightspeed skip" chewie yelled out in frustration as he tried to fix the falcon.
"You lightspeed skipped?" Sage turned to Poe with a angry expression on her face
"Yeah well it got us back here didn't it"
"Poe! The compressors are down"
"Oh I know I was there!"
"You can't lightspeed skip the falcon!"
"Actually it turns out you can" Poe said getting up and walking right up to sage
"Alright guys, Cmon we just landed" Finn said trying to break up the fight
"Can someone please just tell me what the fuck happened?" Sage said trying to get an answer
"Bad news that's what happened" Poe started to walk away again frustrated
"No spy?"
"No" poe answered "spy"
"Well did we make contact?"
"Yes, there's a mole in the first order and we got there message" finn answered as Poe suddenly stopped and turned to face sage deciding he wanted to confront her some more
"You dropped a tree on him?"
"You blew both compressors?"
"Cmon guys" Finn continued to try and stop them from fighting. It didn't work, it never did.
"Well then maybe you shouldn't have abandoned us"
"What are you talking about?"
"Okay so we're playing dumb now" Poe said as sage rolled her eyes and shook her head "drop the act already"
"What act? Poe what do you want from me?" He began to sarcastically laughed and start to walk away "Poe- why are you walking away from me" sage followed the angry man
"Because this is pointless, and I'm done fighting"
"Poe just talk to me, you've been like this ever sense we got to batuu"
Poe stoped in his tracks "you really have no idea?" He turned to look at the girl
"Just tell me"
"Fine, I'm tired of you constantly disappearing and leaving us, leaving me....."
"Poe you know I wanna be out there with you!"
"Yeah but your not! Your here training, and for what?" He yelled "your the best fighter we have......and your all I have , so I need you out there with me. not here" Poe then walked away not giving even a second glance back
"It's true" Finn sighed looking at a disappointed sage "between me and you... I think he's just more upset at the fact that he can't kiss you" he whispered as sage gave him a small smile.
"And who says I'm not" sage retorted back at Finn who just smiled and followed Poe back into the base.

Sage left Poe alone after awhile to let him cool off. She knew he was upset with her for other reasons but there was nothing she could do about that. So when she walked into his hut and he didn't say anything or even look up at her, it didn't surprise her
"Look Poe I'm sorry"
"Don't tell me, tell BB-8. He's the one left with a deformity right now" he said sarcastically.
"You know what I'm talking about"
"Do I?" He turned around suddenly finally facing her. He slowly got closer and closer to her until they where inches apart "enlighten me then princess" Sage rolled her eyes and began to walk away but before she could Poe grabbed her arm pulling her back to face him.
"I told you I'd wait for you. But that doesn't mean that not being able to kiss you isn't killing me right now" he spoke in a lower voice that made sage a little weak in the knees "and I know it's killing you too" he said as he brushed his lip's against hers and then suddenly backed away.
"cocky flyboy" Sage mumbled to herself but poe definitely heard her.
"Cocky flyboy" he said pointing to himself and then moving closer to sage causing her to back up into the walls of the hut "love struck space wizard" Poe pointed to sage teasingly
"I am not love struck"
"Right... and that's not my jacket your wearing" he said smugly turning around and walking out of the hut. Sage looked down realizing she was in fact wearing the same jacket that he had gave to her so long ago.
