Arthur was almost finished unpacking when he heard a knock at the door. "Come in." The door opened and in came Amarvus.

"Hello, are you settling in well?"

"Uh, yeah. Almost done packing."

"Good. Is the translator working alright?"

"Seems to be."

"Also good. I am just here to drop off some soaps for the bathroom and I will be out of your hair."

"Ok. Thanks," Amarvus headed to the bathroom to put the bottles down. "Oh, um, how am I going to tell the difference between them?"

"Daniel helped me label them for you."

"Oh, tell him I said thanks."

"I will. Would you like me to show you how the bathroom works?"

"Sure." They went into the bathroom and Amarvus showed him how everything worked. It was kind of similar to Earth, at least close enough for Arthur to wrap his head around.

"And that is it. Do you have any questions for me?"

"I think I'm good for now."

"Alright. If you ever need anything, just press that button on the wall there."

"Ok. Thank you."

"My pleasure." Amarvus pat his shoulder before leaving the room, leaving Arthur to finish unpacking. He was still a little sore from the translator, but otherwise fine. Once he was done unpacking, he took some time to look around the room. The furniture was a little big, but nothing too bad. Dots decorated the furniture, everything in soft shades of grey. The bed had a few too many pillows. He put a few of them aside. Grabbing a book, he decided to sit on the bed and read to pass the time.

A few chapters later, there was another knock on the door. "Come in." Amarvus poked his head in the room.

"Hello Arthur, it is time for dinner."

"Ok, is it in here like lunch or..?"

"We have a cafeteria for dinner. If you would rather have dinner alone, I can bring it to you."

"Oh no, I'm fine. We can go." Arthur closed his book and headed towards the door.

"Alright, this way." Amarvus headed down the hallway and came to a stop a few doors down. "I have to get Daniel; I will be right back." Amarvus went in the room and came back out with Daniel not too far behind.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"This way you two." They went down several hallways and came to a large room filled with a fair amount of people.

"Woah, how many people did you get to come?"

"Oh, maybe thirty or so? I am not sure of the specific number." They followed Amarvus to one of the tables, a few people already sitting there. They sat down in the empty chairs and Amarvus kneeled beside them. "I am not sure if I am the one passing out dinner, but I will definitely see you after." He pat Arthur on the shoulder and gave Daniel a hug.

"Bye."

"See ya." Amarvus got up and left. Daniel started to actually look at the other people sitting across from him.

"Wait, Sally?"

"Daniel? Oh my gosh, hi!"

"Hi, how are you?"

"I'm well. You?"

"I'm fine. Oh, Arthur, this is Sally. I met her a little while back."

Arthur held out a hand, "Nice to meet ya."

Sally took it, "You too," she turned to the person sitting next to her, "Martha, this is Daniel, I met him on our first little adventure a few years ago."

Martha gave them a nod. Arthur cleared his throat.

"So, where are you guys from?"

"Canada, you?"

"The US."

Someone came up to their table carrying a tray, "Hello, dinner is here!" She passed the plates around to everyone, "There you go, enjoy." She kneeled down to give Sally a hug before leaving.

"Was that your guy?"

"Yeah, that's Daevy. She's nice."

"That's good."

Martha looked towards Sally, then to Daniel, "So, are all of them that... clingy?"

"Uh, I guess. They'll back off if you ask them to."

"Yeah, it took me a while to get used to it, but I think it's sweet." Martha gave another nod before she started eating.

"So, where did you guys meet?"

"Uh, at the geneticists. We talked a bit in the waiting room."

"Geneticists?"

"Yeah, they said that would help them figure out where to find Earth, so we did some tests."

"Yikes."

"They weren't too bad."

"Yeah, some were a bit awkward, but they didn't hurt or anything."

"That's good, I guess." They kept talking throughout dinner. As people finished eating, they were gradually led out of the cafeteria. Eventually, both Daevy and Amarvus came back to their table.

"Hello, are you finished eating?" They said yes and Amarvus took the empty plates from them, "Alright, I have to go put these in the back, then I can walk you two to your rooms."

"And I can take you two back now. Are you ready to go?"

"Uh, I guess. Bye guys."

"Bye, nice to see you again."

"You too." Sally and Martha got up and followed Daevy out of the room. Amarvus soon came back and took Daniel and Arthur back to their rooms. They stopped at Daniel's room first, Amarvus giving him a hug and saying goodnight before taking Arthur to his room.

"Goodnight Arthur, do you need anything before I leave?"

"No, I'm good. Thank you."

"My pleasure. Sleep well."

"You too." Arthur walkedinto his room to get ready for bed.

A/N: Thank you guys so much for being patient with me on this one. With school being busy and the chapters catching up with me, the updates are probably going to take longer to come out. I promise that I am not leaving this, it just might be a longer wait in between chapters. Thank you guys so much for reading!
