"The wall just exploded..."

"This can't be anything good"

Sometime before the explosion

Oliver Schtrom is brought to the defense department's training ground

"...Where am I?"

"The training ground in the barracks of the defense forces. I want to conduct the examination here." Orto explains

"...In such a place?"

"Yes," he snaps his fingers, the soldiers and mages that were hiding come out and surround them "Your examination, that is."

"Mine? Why?"

"Yo, Orto. You called me over, but what's going on?" Rupert Olgran, captain of the magic division asks coming out along with Dominic Gastolle

"I will explain it now, Sir Rupert"

"Why do I have to be treated like this, Orto? Is it because I'm former nobility from the empire?"

"That's not the reason, Mr. Schtrom. Your testimony was perfect, except for one point. Minister Dominic, who was it that transformed into a demon?"

"...Kurt von Ritzburg"

"...Kuku ha ha HAHAHAHA!!" Schtrom responds with a maniacal laugh 

"I never expected a pledge of secrecy...I see now." and he starts revealing his aura

"Not so fast" Rupert attacks sensing the danger, but is blocked by a magic barrier

"Tch!! You can block my attack!? Who are you!!"

"I have no obligation to answer" and Schtrom sends an attack towards them

"Get away, Rupert!!!" the attack hits the wall behind them blowing it up

"Now then..."

"H-He's floating?! I've never seen such magic..."

"Don't let him get away!! If he escapes, there will be more casualties!!" With Rupert's order the archers and the mages fire at Schtrom

But he remains unscathed while being surrounded by a barrier "I've finished all my experiments here in the capital...It's time I took my leave"

"Experiments...is that it?! So you used Kurt for your experiment!! A young man with a bright future ahead of him!! For whatever selfish goal you want to achieve...!!" Orto screams at the supposed teacher
