Verena POV :

"How come you guys are back so early?" Eva asked in utter confusion as she looked at our little group, we all probably looked exhausted.

"Verena and Wade were probably fucking too loud" my mum snickered as she sneaked up behind Eva and gave her a fright.

"AHH!"

Mum really hasn't changed.

"Yup, you know it mum" I winked at her before grabbing wades hand and quickly starting to drag him to our room so we could talk about what's bothering him so bad.

"Can't keep their hands off each other" my mother tisked, does that women have anything better to do other than annoy everyone, what am I saying of course she doesn't.

Once I had settled in my room I walked over to my dearly missed bed and got comfy as I sat cross cross applesauce, staring Wade in the eyes.

"Want to tell me about the women Then?" I asked Wade, yet all he did was stare aimlessly as the wall behind my head. He was avoiding the question that was for sure.

"Wade you can't keep this from me forever" I told him as I stood up and walked over to him, his stare still at the wall behind me.

His eyes flicked down to mine once I was close to him and whispered"I try" to himself  before averting his eyes to the floor in the room.

"Wade, this women is obviously a threat to you and that makes her an enemy of mine, all I want to do is protect you, please just tell me" I pleaded with him as I placed my hands on either side of his face and made him look at me.

I understand he needs his own privacy but he seems genuinely scared of this women, which pissed both my
Wolf, tiger and me off.

"Not yet" he said as he shook his head as if agreeing to what he just said, it was stupid of him to keep this to himself, for now I'll leave it and just let him chill.

I hugged him as I let out a sigh, then deciding that I needed to cool down a bit and started walking towards the door to my room.

I didn't make it very far out of my room before Wade wrapped his muscular arms around my waist and pulled me protectively into his body.

"Mate not leave" he growled as he held me close to his chest, low grumble noises coming from him, this isn't like him, he's acting on his protective instincts.

I sighed, he's obviously too worked up right now.

"I'm going for a run" I told him as I looked up at his worried and determined face, it was kinda cute, that I cannot lie about.

"Your welcome to join" I sighed as I knew for a fact he wasn't going to let me go anywhere without him, and I damn well needed this fucking run.

He nodded as he gave me a smile, i smiled back before kissing his cheek, his arms losing the tension in them as I did so.

"Later I want to know about the women though" I said sternly, he thought for a moment before nodding in defeat.

Thank fucking god, he actually going to tell me.

'You need to stop pushing mate' rose whined, she doesn't understand, well maybe she did but we won't talk about.

'If I don't then I'd be left in the dark' I told her back, Georgia also agreeing with me.
